Decorate the Christmas Tree

I created this Christmas tree–themed activity for young learners who enjoy drawing, coloring, and adding their own creative details to simple holiday templates. Each page includes a clear outline of a Christmas tree or a related writing prompt, giving students space to design ornaments, add decorations, and personalize their artwork. The pages are uncluttered and easy to follow, allowing children to work independently without feeling overwhelmed.

This type of activity works well during the weeks leading up to Christmas when students need something calm, creative, and engaging. It can be used as a warm-up, a center activity, a fast-finisher task, or a quiet choice during morning work. I’ve used similar worksheets before, and students always enjoy designing their own trees and sharing their finished creations with classmates.
