I love to make printable greeting cards and bookmarks. Not only are they fun for kids to do but can be used to practice and build useful and important skills. For example, these cute Valentines Day cards with matching envelope template (5 x 7 finished size): Require students to cut out the cards and envelope template in order to create a finished card with a matching envelope. Cutting with scissors builds fine motor skills. When students fold the cards correctly as well as paste the envelope template correctly, they are developing (especially with the envelope template) problem solving skills in addition to the fine motor skills practice. Deciding who to give the card, writing out a greeting to the chosen person, and addressing the envelope will not only build social skills, but life skills that will always be needed throughout adulthood. Properly addressing the card and outside envelope will require proper capitalization and grammar and will develop handwriting skills as well. Students can work on their cards as a group. Teachers can create a special center for this project. Cards are blank on the inside so that students can decide what they want to say. They can also draw pictures if they are not reading or writing letters yet. The cards are not age specific. They can be created with pre-readers all the way up to adulthood. There are six (6) different foldable, 5 x 7-inch cards with the following sayings: All you need is Jesus Jesus loves you Be my valentine I love you Two of the cards contain a picture without a saying. One envelope template is included, which can be used with any 5 x 7 card besides the cards in the Valentines Day card pack. pdf downloadable file, each card is on a separate sheet of paper. Also included is a coloring sheet with a colored sheet students can use to match the colors or color their own way using their own chosen color scheme.

Chemical elements Christmas Ornaments – Printable Templates for December Science Lessons This printable resource includes black-and-white templates for all 118 elements of the periodic table. Each template shows the element’s name and symbol and can be printed for students to personalize. The activity is intended for the winter season, especially around December, when students are often busy but still benefit from focused, creative work. Students can decorate the element templates with color or drawings and, depending on the level, add simple facts or uses of the element. Some teachers use the finished pieces for a classroom display—on walls, windows, or doors. Others fold them into 3D shapes and hang them from the ceiling or around a subject-themed tree. World Cup 2026 USA Pennant Banner I used these pennants when my class started mentioning the World Cup. I wasn’t planning a full activity, but I wanted something small to reflect what was already on their minds. Some students colored the black-and-white version, others just helped cut and assemble. It worked well without taking much time. After that, I placed the banner across the board. It stayed up for a while and didn’t interfere with regular lessons. The design is simple, which I prefer for seasonal decorations. It’s visible, but not distracting. This is a printable PDF. You can print the colored version or let students personalize the pages. Then connect the pennants with string or ribbon. I usually don’t laminate unless I want to reuse it the following year. Sunflowers – Coloring Sheet | Helianthus annuus A simple activity to accompany science or seasonal lessons 🌻🖍️ This printable coloring sheet focuses on the sunflower ( Helianthus annuus ) and can be used to support lessons on plants, summer flowers, or as a quiet creative task in between more content-heavy subjects. It’s easy to integrate into primary classroom routines and works well as a one-lesson activity – no prep needed. The download includes two versions: one with a cheerful color frame and one in classic black and white, perfect for photocopying. Students can color the sunflower while reviewing what they’ve learned or as part of an introduction to summer plants and flower species. These adorable gingerbread characters are sure to inspire your kids and students this Valentines Day season. There are six different bookmarks, 2" x 6" size, each with a gingerbread person working on baking something yummy. In addition to the six (6) different bookmarks, this pack includes 4 different 5 x 7 cards, two with gingerbread characters, two with other designs. One card is white with just the words, "Love - Be My Valentine" in printed in cursive, red in color. The other card contains a pair of birds kissing inside of a red heart with a blue outline and a blue background. All cards say, "Be My Valentine." Also included is a 5 x 7 envelope template that your students can cut out and paste together to create an envelope that will fit perfectly with the 5 x 7 cards. This project can be used to encourage students to handwrite a message inside, address the envelopes. Also, simply the cutting, folding, and pasting the cards, bookmarks, and envelopes is a creative way for students to practice fine motor skills while enjoying the season as a class.
