Decorative Writing Sheets for Secondary Students Versatile ruled pages for writing, organizing, and personalizing classroom work – in a calm and appealing design 📝🌿 PNG + PDF These decorative worksheets were created with older students in mind. They combine a clean, thoughtful layout with subtle design elements that make them suitable for many classroom contexts – from creative writing to structured math problems. Each page features light, subject-neutral decorations and matching rulings. The rulings are clearly visible but not too dominant, and their colors are coordinated with the overall design. This small detail gives the pages a more polished, motivating look – without distracting from the actual task. What’s included: A selection of printable decorative writing sheets with lines All designs with age-appropriate, calm visuals Rulings in matched color tones for a cohesive appearance PDF format – great for print or digital notebooks (e.g. GoodNotes, Notability) PNG Format Ideas for classroom use: I’ve used these kinds of pages in various ways – for summaries, vocabulary practice, reflections, and even small-scale presentations. Some students appreciate having a “special” page to write on for final drafts or project titles. They’re also useful for open tasks: students might choose how to use the space, which supports creative thinking and independence. Because the sheets are not content-bound, they work well across subjects. Whether you’re teaching language arts, science, or social studies, you can adapt them to your lesson. I’ve even let students use them for personal notes or as covers for their portfolios. They also serve well during quieter phases, in tutoring settings, or as part of personalized learning folders. And for digital classrooms, students can fill them out using a stylus or keyboard. A simple, flexible resource – and a small visual upgrade that shows students their work matters. Printable Chemistry Pennants – Christmas Classroom Decor
STEM, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Basic Science, Holiday & Seasonal, Holidays, Christmas, Homeschool Templates, Grade 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, Activities, Projects, Labs, Experiments, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Bulletin Boards, Crafts, Centers, Banners
Printable Chemistry Pennants – Christmas Classroom Decor I made this banner because I wanted something simple to hang in my classroom during the weeks before the holidays — something that looked nice but still connected to chemistry. These are small triangle flags, each showing one element from the main group, with symbol, name, and atomic number. The design has a bit of a holiday touch but it’s not loud or silly, so it works even if you don’t go all-in on Christmas decorations. What I like about it is that I can just print it, cut it out, and hang it up, and it brings colour to the room without much effort. The students walk past it every day, and after a while they start to recognise elements just from seeing them over and over again. It’s not a big thing, but I’ve noticed that small exposures like that can really help, especially for the students who don’t memorize things easily. I printed mine on heavier paper and used some string and tape to hang it across the whiteboard. One year I laminated them so I could use them again the next time, and they held up really well. You can hang them in a line, in clusters, or just tape them to cabinets or doors — whatever fits your classroom. Sometimes I also use them as a starting point. I might ask a student to pick one element from the banner and tell me something about it, or we do a quick warm-up based on the symbols they see. But most of the time, it’s just there, and that’s enough. It makes the space feel less grey in December, and still keeps the focus on science. It’s nothing complicated — just a printable you can use when you want something useful and a little seasonal. 📍 Happy teaching, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Soccer World Cup 2026 Pennant Banner – Canada Classroom Decoration

World Cup 2026 Canada Pennant Banner This Canada pennant banner was createdƒ for the World Cup period. Students often notice international events, so adding a small decoration felt like a simple way to reflect that. The banner can be printed in color, but I sometimes use the black-and-white pages first so my students can color a few pennants before assembling them. After cutting, the pieces can be connected with string or ribbon. I hung the finished banner along a shelf, although it also works above the board or on a classroom door. The layout is straightforward and doesn’t feel too busy, which helps when it stays up for several days. Depending on time, the activity can be skipped and the colored version used directly. Both options are easy to prepare. The file is provided as a printable PDF. Laminating is optional if you plan to reuse the banner later. I’ve found this type of decoration useful during tournament weeks, especially when you want something visible without changing the regular lesson flow. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from @Lernfitness

Patchwork Hearts – Clipart Set for Creative Teaching Materials & Crafts 10 hand-drawn heart cliparts in color and black & white – for worksheets, posters, crafts & more ❤️🧵 PNG These heart cliparts are a little personal favorite of mine – I love combining patchwork textures with simple shapes, and this set is the result of that mix. Whether you’re preparing materials for Valentine’s Day, a Mother’s Day project, or just want to add a little warmth and color to your worksheets, these hearts are a lovely and flexible addition to your teaching toolbox. What’s included: 10 cliparts in PNG format (transparent background) – 5 colorful patchwork-style hearts – 5 black & white / outline versions for coloring or copying Hand-drawn in Procreate High-resolution files, ready to use in print or digital formats How I use them in the classroom: These cliparts are perfect for worksheets , reward charts , bulletin boards , or craft templates . I often print out the black-and-white versions so students can color them in as part of an art activity. They also work well in writing prompts – for example: “Who do you want to give this heart to?” or “Write a message for someone important to you.” The outline versions are easy to cut out and can be used for window decorations, garlands, or even small keepsakes students take home. The colorful versions are great when I need to quickly add something cheerful to a PowerPoint, digital notebook, or classroom display. And because the style is decorative but not too theme-specific, they’re not just for holidays – I also use them in my social-emotional learning corner or on kindness-themed posters. Usage rights: ✔ For personal and classroom use ✔ Commercial use allowed in educational resources (as long as your own content is clearly the focus) ✘ Please don’t resell or share the individual files as standalone cliparts These hearts are versatile, easy to use, and bring a handmade look to your materials – whether printed or digital. Learning Numbers with Vikings – Creative Pennant Banner - Bunting
Holiday & Seasonal, Math, Early Math, Counting, Numbers, Montessori, Special Education Needs (SEN), Special Resources, History, Social Studies, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, Activities, Worksheets & Printables, Teacher Tools, Projects, Templates, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Posters, Bulletin Boards, Banners
Learning Numbers with Vikings – Creative Pennant Chain Creative Pennant Banner - Bunting A playful number line for early math skills with a Viking theme ⚔️🔢 This printable number pennant chain helps students in early grades (K–2 or 1–3) practice counting from 0 to 20 – all within a fun and imaginative Viking setting. Each pennant features a number, a matching number of Viking-themed illustrations, and a rustic wood-frame design that gives the entire chain a cohesive and storybook-like look. What makes this material stand out is the thoughtful visual support: for every number, students see a set of hand-drawn Viking clipart items (e.g., shields, helmets, swords), clearly corresponding to the number shown. This helps learners make the connection between numerals and quantity – an essential early math skill. What’s included: Numbers 0–20 as printable pennants (PDF) Each number illustrated with a matching number of Viking-themed images Two versions: full-color and black-and-white for coloring activities Wooden-look frames and connectors to complete the Viking design Tips for classroom use included Ideas for classroom use: You can hang the pennant chain across the classroom as a number line or let students help assemble it during a math lesson. The black-and-white version works well for individual coloring tasks, giving students ownership over their learning space. Some teachers use it in math centers, others during Viking-themed project weeks. The visual repetition supports number sense and makes abstract numbers feel more concrete. I’ve found that students who usually struggle with counting feel more confident when they can match numbers to something they can see and count. The resource is easy to print and use, and no extra materials are needed beyond scissors and string. Laminating the pennants will help them last across multiple school years. This is more than just a decoration – it’s a tool for early math learning wrapped in a bit of adventure. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know?
