Glitter Backgrounds – 12 Sparkling Designs for Worksheets, Slides, and Classroom Projects to Brighten Your Classroom Materials ✨ PNG + PDF + TIFF Over the years, I’ve found that even small visual changes can make a big difference when it comes to engaging students—especially with worksheets, bulletin boards, or presentations. That’s exactly why I created these glitter backgrounds. They add a little sparkle and visual interest without being too overwhelming or distracting. Sometimes it’s the background that helps set the mood for a lesson. In this set, you’ll find 12 glitter-style backgrounds, each in A4 format. I designed them using Procreate, and they’re available in three file types: PNG, PDF, and TIFF. That way, you can choose what works best for you—whether you're creating something for print or a digital format like Canva, PowerPoint, or Google Slides. What’s included: – 12 different glitter backgrounds (A4 size) – File formats: PNG (with transparency), PDF (ready to print), TIFF (high resolution) I’ve used these backgrounds in lots of different ways: as worksheet templates, as digital covers in GoodNotes, and even as backing pages for student booklets. Around the holidays, students love anything that sparkles—so I’ve used them for reflection prompts in December, festive games, or classroom posters. They’re also a nice way to elevate things like certificates, behavior charts, or project templates. The designs are colorful and textured, but still neutral enough to use across different subjects and age groups. A note on usage: You're welcome to use these backgrounds in your own classroom or in materials you create for your students. You can also use them in educational resources you plan to share or sell—just make sure your own content is clearly visible and that you credit my store or website when doing so. Wishing you lots of creative ideas and sparkly results! – Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? Blank Writing & Activity Sheets – Spring Theme Flexible, decorative pages for writing, drawing, music, or custom classroom materials 🌸✏️ PNG + PDF These printable pages are designed to bring a little seasonal color and calm into your classroom. With soft spring-themed decorations and no pre-set lines, you can use them in almost any subject or context. Whether your students are writing stories, solving math problems, or composing short pieces of music, these sheets give them a gentle, creative frame to work within. What I appreciate about using open-format pages like these is the flexibility. Sometimes, we just need something that’s visually appealing but still leaves space for our own content – and that’s exactly what this resource offers. What’s included: A selection of blank decorative worksheets in a spring design No lines, so you can add your own structure (or none at all) Soft seasonal visuals – not too distracting, but motivating PDF format – for printing or digital notebooks (GoodNotes, Notability, etc.) PNG Format Ideas for classroom use: I’ve used these sheets in many ways over the years – as writing paper for creative assignments, as a quiet-time drawing prompt, or even for student-made math problems. Some students enjoy using them for reflection journals or personal check-in pages. They're also great for differentiated use: students can write a paragraph, draw a process, list keywords, or create a mind map – all on the same page layout. If you’re working in a digital environment, the files can easily be inserted into apps like GoodNotes and filled in with a stylus. Sometimes it’s the small details – like giving students a beautiful sheet of paper – that makes an activity feel more special and worth their time. Best, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Decorative Writing Sheets for Primary Students Printable ruled pages with child-friendly designs – for writing, practicing, and learning across subjects ✏️🌈 PNG + PDF These decorative worksheets were created especially for use in primary classrooms. Each sheet includes child-friendly rulings that support early writing skills and help students structure their ideas more clearly. What makes these pages extra special is their soft, coordinated design: the line colors match the surrounding illustrations, creating a calm and motivating look that many children really enjoy. Whether you're working on writing short stories, practicing letters, solving simple math problems, or even introducing music notation – these pages give students a visually appealing and structured space to work in. What’s included: A variety of printable worksheets with age-appropriate writing lines Gentle, decorative themes suited for younger learners Coordinated line colors for a neat and balanced appearance PDF format – ideal for printouts or digital notebooks (GoodNotes, Notability) PNG Format Classroom ideas: I’ve used these pages for journal entries, creative writing, dictations, and short-answer tasks. They’re also great as a “special” writing page for final versions of a story or when students present their work to the class. Many of my students take more care with their handwriting when they’re given a well-designed page to work on – a little aesthetic motivation goes a long way. Because the designs are subtle and not theme-locked, you can use them all year long. Some children even enjoy choosing their favorite version before starting a task – which can be a nice moment of autonomy in a structured lesson. These sheets are simple, flexible, and designed with classroom reality in mind – especially for younger learners who benefit from clear structure and a bit of visual encouragement. Valentine's Day Templates - Printable Greeting Cards & Coloring Sheet

Valentine's Day Templates - Printable Greeting Cards & Coloring Sheet
Creative Arts, Valentine's Day, Holidays, Holiday & Seasonal, Community Building, Resources for Teachers, Special Resources, Life Skills, Social Skills, Speech Therapy, Homeschool Templates, Crafts, Activities, Centers, Projects, Bulletin Boards, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Templates, Teacher Tools

I love to make printable greeting cards and bookmarks. Not only are they fun for kids to do but can be used to practice and build useful and important skills. For example, these cute Valentines Day cards with matching envelope template (5 x 7 finished size): Require students to cut out the cards and envelope template in order to create a finished card with a matching envelope. Cutting with scissors builds fine motor skills. When students fold the cards correctly as well as paste the envelope template correctly, they are developing (especially with the envelope template) problem solving skills in addition to the fine motor skills practice. Deciding who to give the card, writing out a greeting to the chosen person, and addressing the envelope will not only build social skills, but life skills that will always be needed throughout adulthood. Properly addressing the card and outside envelope will require proper capitalization and grammar and will develop handwriting skills as well. Students can work on their cards as a group. Teachers can create a special center for this project. Cards are blank on the inside so that students can decide what they want to say. They can also draw pictures if they are not reading or writing letters yet. The cards are not age specific. They can be created with pre-readers all the way up to adulthood. There are six (6) different foldable, 5 x 7-inch cards with the following sayings: All you need is Jesus Jesus loves you Be my valentine I love you Two of the cards contain a picture without a saying. One envelope template is included, which can be used with any 5 x 7 card besides the cards in the Valentines Day card pack. pdf downloadable file, each card is on a separate sheet of paper. Also included is a coloring sheet with a colored sheet students can use to match the colors or color their own way using their own chosen color scheme.

Learning Numbers with Vikings – Creative Pennant Banner - Bunting

Learning Numbers with Vikings – Creative Pennant Banner - Bunting

Learning Numbers with Vikings – Creative Pennant Chain Creative Pennant Banner - Bunting A playful number line for early math skills with a Viking theme ⚔️🔢 This printable number pennant chain helps students in early grades (K–2 or 1–3) practice counting from 0 to 20 – all within a fun and imaginative Viking setting. Each pennant features a number, a matching number of Viking-themed illustrations, and a rustic wood-frame design that gives the entire chain a cohesive and storybook-like look. What makes this material stand out is the thoughtful visual support: for every number, students see a set of hand-drawn Viking clipart items (e.g., shields, helmets, swords), clearly corresponding to the number shown. This helps learners make the connection between numerals and quantity – an essential early math skill. What’s included: Numbers 0–20 as printable pennants (PDF) Each number illustrated with a matching number of Viking-themed images Two versions: full-color and black-and-white for coloring activities Wooden-look frames and connectors to complete the Viking design Tips for classroom use included Ideas for classroom use: You can hang the pennant chain across the classroom as a number line or let students help assemble it during a math lesson. The black-and-white version works well for individual coloring tasks, giving students ownership over their learning space. Some teachers use it in math centers, others during Viking-themed project weeks. The visual repetition supports number sense and makes abstract numbers feel more concrete. I’ve found that students who usually struggle with counting feel more confident when they can match numbers to something they can see and count. The resource is easy to print and use, and no extra materials are needed beyond scissors and string. Laminating the pennants will help them last across multiple school years. This is more than just a decoration – it’s a tool for early math learning wrapped in a bit of adventure. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? All About Me Bio Poem Simile Writing Getting to Know You Activity
Writing, ELA, Creative Writing, Poetry, Literature, Vocabulary, Language Development, April, Months, Holiday & Seasonal, Homeschool Templates, Grade 3, 4, 5, 6, Centers, Activities, Bulletin Boards, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets

Looking for an “All About Me” bio poem activity that actually gets your students writing (and sharing a bit about themselves)? At the start of the year, I always find that some students are excited to talk… and others just don’t know what to say or write. That’s where this has worked really well in my classroom. This bio poem activity gives students a simple structure to follow, so they’re not stuck staring at a blank page. The templates guide them step by step, and the simile prompts help them add a bit more detail and personality to their writing without overthinking it. I usually start by showing them an example (there’s one included), and we talk through it together. After that, they brainstorm their own ideas and use the notebook-style templates to draft their poem. It’s very manageable, even for students who aren’t confident writers yet. Once they’ve written their poem, they can create a neat final version using the publishing page. These look great displayed in the classroom, and students genuinely enjoy reading about each other. Everything is included to make it easy to run as a full lesson—there’s a simple lesson plan to follow, plus a rubric if you want to assess the writing without spending ages on marking. I’ve found this works especially well as a getting-to-know-you activity, but it also fits nicely into poetry or writing lessons any time of the year. Items Included Bio poem interactive notebook templates to scaffold student writing Simile writing prompts to help with descriptions Clear, student-friendly example (color and blackline posters) Step-by-step lesson plan for easy teaching Publishing sheet for a final copy Assessment rubric for quick marking How to Use in Your Classroom You might start by modelling a bio poem about yourself or a familiar person using the included examples. This helps students see exactly what’s expected. From there, students can brainstorm ideas and use the interactive notebook templates to plan and draft their poems. The simile prompts support them in adding richer, more descriptive language. Once complete, students can create a polished final copy using the publishing pages—perfect for a classroom display! The included rubric makes assessment simple and clear. Skills Covered Poetry writing Simile and figurative language Descriptive writing Self-expression and identity Writing organisation and structure Editing and revising These make a beautiful back-to-school bulletin board display —and students love reading about each other once they’re finished!

Chemistry Pennant Banner – 50 Main Group Elements to Print

Chemistry Pennant Banner – 50 Main Group Elements to Print

Printable Pennants: 50 Main Group Elements – Holiday Chemistry Decor (Christmas Theme) This is a printable banner I made for my chemistry classroom, mostly to bring a bit of colour and a seasonal touch in December while still keeping it content-related. It includes 50 of the main group elements from the periodic table, each one on a separate pennant with the name, symbol and atomic number. I hang them up across the whiteboard or on the classroom wall, and the nice thing is that the students walk past them all the time, so they kind of absorb the information without realising it. The look of the pennants is slightly Christmas-themed, nothing too much, just enough to feel like it fits the season. I’ve done it both ways – printing the coloured version myself and just hanging it up, or printing the black-and-white version and letting students decorate a pennant each. That version worked well with a lower energy group before the holidays, and they enjoyed adding small facts or drawings connected to their element. Some made it artistic, others just coloured it in, but it definitely helped with remembering. Depending on the class, I sometimes only use the first 20 elements, especially if we haven’t covered much of the table yet. But with older students, we’ve used all 50 and even turned it into a quick quiz – like who can find the halogens in the banner, or name something everyday that contains element 13. I usually print the pennants on slightly thicker paper so they hang nicely, and if I want to use them again next year, I laminate them. String or ribbon works well for hanging, and it only takes a few minutes to put it all together. It’s a small thing, but it brightens up the room and keeps the content in view. Everything’s included in the file – all the pennants and a short explanation. 📍 Happy teaching, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Let’s be real, teaching little kids to cut shapes without slicing their paper (or their sleeves) is a whole adventure. That’s where this Shapes Cutting Practice – Color Then Cut activity steps in like a quiet classroom hero. First, kids get to color in all sorts of fun shapes, circles, triangles, stars, hearts, you name it. Because let’s face it, coloring is pretty much every kid’s favorite hobby. Then they get to cut them out, which is the sneaky way we help them practice those fine motor skills without them even noticing. It's like learning disguised as fun. And it works! The best part? This comes with two versions , a black-and-white version so kids can go wild with their crayons, and a pre-colored version for those “I need something ready, like, five minutes ago” days. Ways to Use It: Calm morning work (yes, it’s possible) Shape review that doesn’t feel like a quiz Scissor skill practice without the tears Quiet-time craft station Early finisher task (because there’s always one) Why You’ll Love It: Super easy to prep, just print! Actually helps kids focus (magic!) Encourages independence Keeps little hands busy (and mostly out of trouble) Color, cut, and breathe. You’ve got this. Pdf file includes 14 pages.

Chemical elements Christmas Ornaments – Printable Templates for December Science Lessons This printable resource includes black-and-white templates for all 118 elements of the periodic table. Each template shows the element’s name and symbol and can be printed for students to personalize. The activity is intended for the winter season, especially around December, when students are often busy but still benefit from focused, creative work. Students can decorate the element templates with color or drawings and, depending on the level, add simple facts or uses of the element. Some teachers use the finished pieces for a classroom display—on walls, windows, or doors. Others fold them into 3D shapes and hang them from the ceiling or around a subject-themed tree. Instructions for both 2D and foldable 3D formats are included, though the actual designs stay simple so that students can focus on content. No special materials are required beyond paper, scissors, and some colors. The templates work well with different age groups, from basic recognition in younger grades to research tasks for older students. Many classes use the templates as a seasonal wrap-up to a unit on atomic structure or chemical elements. It helps students to slow down while still staying connected to subject material. The repetitive visual exposure to symbols and element names supports retention, especially when students walk past the display each day. This activity is flexible enough to be used as a quiet individual task, a group effort, or part of a themed science week. Teachers can adapt the number of elements, the complexity of the task, and the way the results are shared. Included are 118 element cards, printing instructions, and some simple ideas for using the resource in class. It can be a nice way to connect content with classroom atmosphere during the last weeks of term. Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know?
