Christmas Craft: 3D Paper Tree

This is a 3D Paper Christmas Tree Craft.

This Christmas craft 3D activity includes three Christmas tree templates to create and decorate a paper holiday tree that encourages creativity in your students.

Materials:

·      colored pencils

·      crayons

·      color markers

·      glitter, ribbon, watercolor, or tempera paints (optional)

·      scissors

·      glue or glue stick

·      straws

·      hole punch

 Besides the materials listed, feel free to add any other medium you may have on hand.

Once assembled, the 3D tree can stand up on its own because of the straw base.

This is a fun activity that's perfect for the winter holiday season and a great December craft idea.

Students can easily create several trees during one art lesson or extend the art lesson over a week and make the materials available for early finishers and downtime.
