Do You Speak Fish? An SEL Book Extension Activity

In this product, students will practice looking at pictures and answering questions about how someone is feeling, what their perspective is, and what they think. There is a game board and 24 question cards. The game is like a Chutes and Ladders game but is called Trees and Seas. (The uniting character in the book is the tree.) There are directions enclosed. Read the book Do You Speak Fish by DJ Corchin and Dan Dougherty. A wonderful book about communicating, understanding others' perspectives,s and thinking about someone other than yourself. All you will need is a printer, dice, and game pieces. (And of course the book!) Honestly, the book is great for K-12 but this product is suitable for K-3. :)
