French: Revision Lesson on Food and restaurant- Au restaurant

Your students (of lower intermediate level) will be able to learn or review the topic of Food and going to the restaurant with this French resource pack.

Your students will aim to:

- identify the vocabulary about food

- pick up specific details about eating out

- talk about a recent dinner at the restaurant

Previous knowledge required:

Your students will need to know the basic vocabulary on food and drinks, the present tense with regular verbs and have an understanding of the perfect tense with AVOIR.

The lesson covers the following aspects:

- A review of the vocabulary for fruits and vegetables, quantities and measures

- Grammar: manger/ boire + du/ de la/ de l'/ des, perfect tense with AVOIR and regular verbs, expressions of frequency

- the practice activities include: Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking, translation and video comprehension activities

- A homework task
