How to Draw a Roast Turkey

This lesson includes a detailed 23-slide PowerPoint presentation packed with information about Thanksgiving, texture, using photo reference and detailed instructions on how to draw a roast turkey. Also included is a 7-page instructional guide that will walk your students through the process of drawing a roast turkey, adding texture and how to color it realistically. Everything you need to confidently lead students through a class discussion and successfully complete the project is right here! I highly recommend this lesson for students grade 2 and up but I have even taught a slightly simplified version to students as young as 1st grade. Your students will have a great time learning about Thanksgiving, discussing some of their own holiday traditions and favorite foods, as well as drawing a roast turkey that they colored to a beautiful golden brown themselves!
