IDIOMS Task Cards with Power Point Slides

Figurative language lessons can be fun, especially when learning includes getting up out of your seat. Your grade 4 and grade 5 learners will agree that this set of 20 task cards is definitely a teaching tool worth adding to your ELA curriculum. On each card is an incomplete idiom and 4 multiple choice answers. Learners choose the word that correctly finishes each idiom. Also included on each task card is a picture that corresponds with the idiom, giving learners a visual representation of the saying. You’ll find this product to be the perfect addition to your curriculum for several reasons. Once the initial prep work of laminating the cards is complete, you can use them as a year-over-year activity. Task cards are a versatile activity which can be used in a variety of educational environments. When the weather beckons you outdoors, give your learners the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air while actively learning about the lesson at hand.
