From the author

Let’s Make a Book: Grades 1–2

Help early writers assemble shaped books from ten themes, including My Kitty, I Like the Night and Up in a Rocket. The 60-page black-and-white PDF includes printable patterns and story frames; Cats! and A Chicken Story provide patterns without story frames.

Use the brief setup and assembly directions to prepare a bookmaking centre. Supply plain or lined paper, construction paper, coloring materials, scissors and adhesive or staples as needed. These are printable bookmaking materials, rather than detailed daily lesson plans.
