About This Product

Are you planning to teach students the basic terms related to theatre and drama? This short literary terms lesson covers the most significant concepts connected to staged drama. These activities are designed to work as a short stand-a-lone lesson or as an introduction or supplement to units related to theatrical plays.

Before students are able to fully understand and create literature, it is important they understand the underlying concepts and techniques used to produce literary art. L-EA's literary terms lessons help students learn and practice these techniques, as well as provide the resources to help teachers assess student understanding.

Teaching this resource is simple! Start it by presenting the included slideshow of literary terms and definitions while students use the accompanying worksheet to take notes. The, handout the accompanying homework assignment. Later in the week or following week, administer the quiz, which is provided as a printable or Google Form quiz (ideal for Google Classroom distribution!)
