Playing the Game
There are two rounds in this game, the arrow in the bottom right will navigate you through the powerpoint.
Round 1 - 6 Stars 1 Question Static: A question will appear in the middle of the screen and there will be six stars containing words that surround it. Choose the correct word for each question. Correct answer will flash, incorrect will dim. (8 questions)
Round 2 - 6 Stars 1 Question Moving: Similar concept to round 2 but this time after seeing the clue, the six stars will fly in and out across the screen one-by-one. Quickly click on the correct star. If you fail there is a chance to repeat the slide. There is a quick ready message before each question, this will move on automatically. (9 questions)
About the Game
You are looking at a game that requires multiple skills and will allow your student to practice reading long O phonics words. With up to six words on the screen at any time, there is ample opportunity to practice phonics with every member of the class.
