National History Day 2022: Interactive Notebook

This product has been updated to incorporate the 2022 National History Day Theme of "Debate and Diplomacy in History - Successes, Failures, and Consequences." It is designed for middle school students doing History Day Projects for the first time. This product is a fillable pdf so that students may be able to use the pages digitally.

These and similar pages were invaluable in getting my 6th graders started with the sometimes daunting tasks of: understanding the theme, picking a topic, choosing an entry category, writing a bibliography, doing the research, and writing the process paper. The rewards of participating in National History Day make all challenges worthwhile!

Please note: The NHD website, www.nhd.org, should be your main reference for questions regarding your students' entries. My product provides a supplement intended to boost understanding and motivation.
