This Physical and Chemical Properties Lab Station Activity has seven task stations and two catch-up stations. Students sketch an object and describe its properties, research matter, explain an opinion, read about combustion, respond to video questions and create questions of their own.
Six editable Word files supply station cards, a group passport, teacher instructions, the reading, video questions and a quiz. Answers accompany the reading, video questions and quiz. Print and arrange the materials and provide device access before the rotation.

Teaching tips
Print the station cards and supporting documents, placing reading, quiz and video questions at their matching stations. Supply one passport per group.
Use nine groups when running every station at once, or seven groups with the two rest stations initially open, as the teacher guide suggests.
Allow six to seven minutes per station and arrange device access for research and the linked video.
