Round mult-digit whole numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10,000 or 100,000 using place value with unlimited Worksheets plus resources for the Interactive Whiteboard (or PC or Mac)
There are two sets of worksheets:
1. Using Place Value on the Number Line to round to the nearest 10, 100 or 1000
Every worksheet has 4 number lines containing 16 questions
The top Number Line has 10 divisions between every multiple of 10, 100 or 1000 . This reduces until the last Number Line, so that students must think more about the values of the scales and the rounding process.
2. Round using Place Value to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10,000 & 100,000
There is a Worksheet set for each level plus one with a mix of all levels with an example shown.

You have a 3 choices:
Comma separator: e.g. 23,334,290
Space separator: e.g. 23 334 290
No separator: e.g. 23334290
How many Worksheets in each Set ?

You can print as many worksheets at each level as neededl for practice throughout the year or even give small groups of students in your class different sets of questions either at the same level or differentiated. There will certainly be enough to ensure fluency in this topic.
