U.S. President James Garfield Research Project This social studies project has students research President James Garfield and create an informational report. The project includes materials to guide students through the research and writing process. Students compile research and drafts in a flip book report format. The project can be used for individual, partner, or group work in 3rd-5th grade. Students follow a step-by-step process including research, outline, rough draft, peer review, editing, and final published report. Publishing paper is provided for the final report.
