About this resource
In this resource, feelings and emotions take a play on the typical Periodic Table of Chemicals. Instead, this is the Periodic Table Of Emotions. there are 7 colour coded categories on this poster. The categories are; love, joy, surprise, anger, fear, disgust and sadness. The unique part about this poster is it gives students (and adults) related words within each emotion category. for example, in anger, there are these related words; rage, envy, frustration, bad mood and more. For joy there are these words; hope, happiness, ease, desire and more. For sadness, there are these words; disappointment, discouragement, loneliness, boredom, pessimism, and more. For love, there are these words; gratitude, pride, compassion, empathy, sympathy, and more. For fear the words are; shy, dread, nervousness, and more. This emotions chart is suitable for primary, middle and even secondary school classrooms. It may even be a great poster to put up in a science classroom alongside the Periodic Table of Chemicals, just for fun.
