The Little Book of Logic Puzzles: 25 Puzzles That Will Make You Think, Volume #2
ELA, Reading, Grade 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Activities
Volume #2 of The Little Book of Logic Puzzles: 25 Puzzles That Will Make You Think. Each Logic Puzzle in this volume is part of a two-page spread. The first page of the spread contains the puzzle while the second page lists the answer and explanation. All of the puzzles are arranged in order of difficulty, from easiest to most difficult. The download you have received is in a Microsoft WORD format. This gives you the option to print the puzzles out on paper or solve them on the computer screen. A third option, that of displaying the puzzles on an overhead projector as part of a classroom or public presentation , can help you and the other solvers see and more clearly understand how the puzzle grids can be marked with “X’s” (to eliminate choices that can’t be), and “O’s” (to show the choices that must be), giving additional visual cues that will help you to correctly solve the puzzles. These 25 Logic Puzzles are great tools for developing reading comprehension and problem solving skills. Teachers, present them as an activity in your classroom to start the day, or at the start of a reading period. Use them to give your students a break from traditional reading exercises, while still providing them with a significant reading challenge. Consider adding a Logic Puzzle as an ungraded extra page to the end of a quiz or test, giving those students who finish the test quickly a puzzle to solve and something to do while others in the class are still completing their exams. Once you have finished solving the Logic Puzzles in Volume #2, you may want to have access to more puzzles. Thankfully, Volumes #1 and #3 are also available in the same format, and each contains another set of 25 Logic Puzzles of the same quality and the same level of challenge!

, Grade 6, 7, Task Cards, Worksheets & Printables
Product Overview: Like Terms - Digital Task Cards for Google Classroom The product, Like Terms - Digital Task Cards for Google Classroom, provides a comprehensive digital resource that is tailored towards enhancing the learning skills of middle school students in mathematics. This remarkable teaching resource features two sets of 20 digital task cards embedded in Google Forms, which can be readily assigned to students via Google classroom. One unique attribute about these cards is their self-grading feature; they are designed to help the learners proceed sequentially from one question to another, letting them receive feedback on their performance upon completion. More so, these cards come with an innovative design which includes each task card or question treated as an independent section within the Google Form--a feature that is beneficial for ELLs and students with special learning needs. An Effective Learning Tool This instructional Material shines when introducing concepts like terms and numbers association among 6th graders; where learners determine if pairs of numerical values are 'like terms'. Notably,'exponents', are not used during this early stage. Educators can implement this tool during math stations for practice sessions. The tool can also act as both a formative and summative assessment method using the quiz version; by shuffling order randomness eliminates risk of memorization thus true grasp assessment. Note: This invaluable resource is strictly digital and comes only in a "Google Form format"-- it cannot be printed out for traditional pen-and-paper quizzes or tests. Perfectly suited for modern-digital classrooms targeting grade 6 & 7 pupils majoring in mathematics; primed just rightly across-the-board utilization; small group discussions, whole class walkthroughs or even assigned as homework!
