The foldable books contain seek-and-find activities, tracing practice, reading sentences with the target word, and emergent readers to build sight word recognition. To use, print the no-prep pages and have students fold along the lines to create mini-books. Then they can complete the activities in any order: finding and coloring the word, tracing practice, reading and/or writing sentences with "and," and reading the emergent reader stories. These books work well for literacy centers , independent practice, homework, and sub plans in kindergarten and first grade. There are three different fluency practice pages that all focus on learning to spell and read the target sight word in context of a sentence and in context of a story.
