Whether your 3rd grade students need practice with their science vocabulary or your 2nd grade students need practice with math vocabulary, this bingo game will help! How To Use This Resource: Pass out the BINGO cards to the students. (You may choose to laminate the cards and have the students use dry erase markers so that you can reuse them.) Have them write a vocabulary word in each space. Give the letter of B-I-N-G-O and read the definition of a word.* Students should be able to determine what word you defined and mark the square if they have it under the letter you said. Solve One-Step Inequalities Digital Self-Checking Sketch and Guess Activity is an engaging way for your students to practice solving one-step inequalities. Math is fun again with this self-checking digital Solve One-Step Inequalities Sketch and Guess activity for Google Sheets! It is designed for middle school students whom I hope have as much fun as mine have! This resource involves a self-checking activity , Sketch and Guess. As students answer questions in order, they reveal a mystery sketch. With more correct answers, more of the mystery sketch gets revealed. Once guessed correctly, students are moved to the second of three sketches. The students continue to answer questions and guess the sketches until no questions remain. Can the students guess the sketch before it’s too late? The students answer the questions in any order they prefer. After solving the question on a whiteboard, scratch paper, or the provided workspace, students type their final answer into the appropriate cell. If correct, the students receive immediate feedback with the image zooming out and the appearance of a camera emoji next to their answer. The self-correcting feature on the cards allow students to check their reading. What is Included: There are 96 CVCe words included in this packet. Included in the packet are illustrated directions on how to put the cards together. How to Use: Students will get a card for the pile. Students will practice reading the word on the card, using the dots and arrows as a finger guide to reading the word. Once they feel confident that they know the word they read, they will open the card to reveal a picture of the word they read. When to Use: Literacy Center - Students can work independently or with a partner to read these CVCe words Morning Tub or Basket - The cards can be placed in a morning bin for students to work on as students arrive to class. Small Group Activity - The teacher can choose a small group of students or a specific group of words for students to work on in a small group setting with the teacher. The fact that the teacher can easily choose which words to include inside a center or activity, allows the teacher to easily differentiate this activity for her students. The bold, colorful, easy to recognize pictures allow students to complete this center independently, by providing pictures they should already recognize that match the words they are practicing to read. The cards do require some prep work to put together, but once created, they will provide a long term center or activity for your classroom. They need to be printed, cut apart and folding into thirds to create the read and reveal nature of this activity.
