There are a total of 24 parts: 11 parts in Winnie the Pooh and His Stuffed Friend, Christopher Robin 13 parts in The Little Gray Wolf and Red Riding Hood The plays provide opportunities for your students to compare and contrast the original versions of these beloved stories to the mixed-up ones. They are asked to think critically about the story elements: How are the characters, settings, plots, and themes similar and different? What else could the author have included in the mixed-up versions? What would you have done differently? And why? Separate Parent/Teacher Guides and Answer Keys for each play help support understanding of the text through questions and key vocabulary words, enriching activities, and additional student activities. These sight word worksheets encourage all students to practice sight word reading fluency for the target sight word. There are three different fluency practice pages that all focus on learning to recognize, spell, and read the target sight word in context. Allowing students to practice the sight word in context gives students the ability to connect the sight word's meaning and grammatical usage to help gain a greater understanding of the target word. Each passage repeats the target word multiple times for extra practice with the word. Students will practice reading, writing, reading comprehension, and spelling high frequency words with these fluency pages. Included in this sight word fluency packet: * One reading fluency page that contains a single passage for students to read and find the sight word. * One write and read fluency page where students will write the target sight word and then read the passage. * One read, write, and draw fluency page where students will read a sentence, copy the sentence then draw a picture to illustrate the sentence. The journals are not numbered, so you can use them in whatever order works best for your class. This could be a fantastic addition to your math program for the new school year! A rubric for easy marking is also included. Students are assessed on their process, vocabulary, completeness, and visuals. This allows you to easily see student progress if you assess one or two journals per term. You could also use them as artifacts for parent-teacher conferences.
