Zebra Print Labels & Banner Flags
Resources for Teachers, Not Grade Specific, Banners, Classroom Decor
These editable animal print labels and banners are easy to edit and use. Zebra print labels and banner flags in Google Drive and Microsoft PowerPoint! Download the zip file and open the PowerPoint or click on the Google Link on the PDF to make a copy in Goggle Drive. 21 pages. The first three pages are "packaging" and are not editable. Simply click on the text to change the words, font, or size. You can drag or turn the text box to change the location or orientation. If so desired, insert a text box with white fill to block off anything you do not want to print on a page.Or delete a text box if you want plain banners . This resource contains four different flags for banners , two flags per page. Simply duplicate pages to add more flags. Because it is one-sided printing, I typically use this as a banner heading on bulletin boards, or hung on a wall, but once, I did hang banners back-to-back from the ceiling and threw in some plain flags as well. There are rectangular labels in various sizes: 2 by 3.5 - 2.5 by 4 - 3 by 5 - 4 by 6 - 6.5 by 10 - 8 by 10 - and full page There are square labels in sizes: 2 by 2. 3.5 by 3.5. 4 by 4. 5 by 5. and 8 by 8 Labels are not meant to fit any particular page of adhesive labels. I print these on card stock, laminate, and use in pocket folders, tape to cubbies, lockers, desks, task boxes, book bins, etc. I use them for everything! When I want an adhesive, I print on full page adhesive labels and cut. Appropriate for all classrooms or your home office! Using matching or coordinating labels and binders (see my other products) will help tie in the different colors and objects in the room, uniting the look, improving the feel of the room, and can even help raise your score on teacher evaluations. Helpful Tip - Don't try to label everything all at once. That can be so overwhelming. You accumulate so much through the years. I suggest doing 5 to 10 labels a week. That is manageable, and makes a big difference. The hardest part is getting started! So find a design you like, your favorite font, and take it a week at a time! You Got This! Happy Organizing! DIBELS (8th edition) Class Analysis & Auto composite (All Grades K-8)
ELA, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Teacher Tools, Assessments
Save time by instantly calculating the composite scores for a classroom. Subtest scores are color-coded and sortable, and aligned with DIBELS risk categories: Blue = Negligible risk (core support) Green = Minimal risk (core support) Yellow = Some risk (strategic support) Red = At risk (intensive support) Filter all of your class results by teacher, subtest, or category (Sp. Ed, ELL, etc.) and see color coded performance indicators for your entire class. This resource will save you a lot of busy-work by automatically finding the composite for each student, and will help with grouping and instructional decisions. For example, does most of your entire class have low fluency scores but high foundational reading scores (Letter naming, phonemic segmentation, nonsense words, etc.)? That would suggest that a class-wide intervention such as repeated reading or sentence repetition might be beneficial. Does the analysis section show that the class is struggling with phonemic segmentation? That would suggest easy bell-ringer activities like the Michael Heggarty books or rhyming, initial / middle / final sound identification, or even phonological awareness skills like compound word segmentation or phonemic segmentation. The color coding feature will help with instructional groupings because you can quickly see which students struggle with which foundational reading skill. It also helps indicate what level of support is needed. If less than half of the class is proficient, is suggests classwide interventions should be a priority. Otherwise, maybe Tier 2 or Tier 3 interventions are a better use of your time depending on the severity of the assessment difficulty and how many instructional resources your have at your disposal. You don't need to waste your valuable time by looking up norms tables or calculating composite scores by hand, because this tool will automatically do all of that for you. Instant calculations, color coding, sorting, and filtering will make your screening data much easier to work with.

2025 July ELA Bell Ringers
Resources for Teachers, ELA, Writing, Creative Writing, Life Studies, Research, High School, Homeschool Resources, Middle School, Worksheets & Printables, Writing Prompts, Teacher Tools, Assessments, Quizzes and Tests
As a homeschool mom who has struggled with keeping my teenagers engaged in meaningful learning during those lazy summer days, I know how challenging it can be to maintain momentum without overwhelming busy schedules. That is exactly why I created these July ELA Bell Ringers – 23 carefully planned daily activities that take just 10-15 minutes but pack a real punch in terms of skill building. I have watched my own daughter groan at the thought of "summer school," but these quick, varied exercises actually get them excited about writing again. Each activity builds naturally on the previous day's work, creating a gentle but effective learning progression that keeps minds sharp without feeling like drudgery. INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE: 23 unique daily activities that actually hold teenager attention (trust me, I've tested these!) Grammar lessons that make sense instead of just drilling rules Creative writing prompts that spark imagination – from dystopian fiction to unreliable narrators Poetry analysis using works kids can actually connect with, including Emily Dickinson and Maya Angelou TOPICS COVERED: Real-world grammar that improves writing instead of just test performance Literary analysis skills that prepare students for challenging texts Creative writing across genres that builds confidence and voice Vocabulary development through meaningful context, not memorization These July Bell Ringers grew out of my own frustration with summer slide and my determination to find something that actually worked with real teenagers in real families. After years of watching my kids and their friends struggle with the transition back to academic work each fall, I knew there had to be a better way. This collection maintains rigor while respecting the reality of summer schedules and teenage attention spans. It's the resource I wish I had had when my oldest was heading into challenging literature courses – something that built genuine skills without killing the joy of reading and writing. Most of all, it prepares students not just for the next grade level but for the independent thinking and clear communication they'll need throughout their lives. If you and your students/homeschoolers, enjoyed this resource, please leave a review. Thank you for your support! Tina - Big Easy Homeschooling Mom
