In this resource of growth mindset posters, students will learn the difference between positive and negative thinking. One of the posters has a Success side and a Failure side. Words for the success side are "yes I can", "idea", "do it now", "practice", "be open" and "don't give up". The failure side has these words and phrases; "lost", "fear", "no", "unsure", "give up", "unclear", "I cannot", "I give up", "perplex" and "confuse". This is a great visual for students to see the difference and power in our thinking. The other poster has strategies to change one's thinking from negative to positive. This poster is titled "How To Deal With Negative Thoughts?" The steps to change negative thinking on this posters are 1) Recognize-Recognize negative thoughts. 2) Identify-What triggered the emotion? Reality check; are you ignoring, minimizing or exaggerating? 3) Challenge-Where's the proof? Are my thoughts definitely accurate?
