Watercolor Backgrounds – 10 Designs for Teaching Materials and Creative Projects (A4 Format) PNG + PDF Over the years, I’ve realized how much a soft and thoughtfully chosen background can influence the overall tone of a worksheet, project, or presentation. Especially when working with younger learners—or just trying to break away from the usual black-and-white documents—a watercolor-style background can make materials feel calmer, more inviting, and a little more special. This set includes 10 hand-designed watercolor backgrounds , all created by me in Procreate. They’re simple, versatile, and gentle in color, making them easy to combine with your own content—whether you're designing a worksheet, setting up a presentation, or putting together printable materials like task cards or signs. Each background comes in two formats : – PNG (with transparent or clean edges – ideal for digital work) – PDF (quick and ready to print) What you can use them for: – Designing worksheets or templates for student work – Presentation slides (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva...) – Game cards or instruction sets – Greeting cards or classroom posters – Backdrops for reflection or writing pages – And much more I’ve personally used them for everything from laminated instructions at learning centers to cover pages for student portfolios. These summer themed counting to 10 posters make a great beach classroom display. Students will have the bright and colorful number poster display to practice counting and recognizing the numbers from one to 10. What is Included: This packet includes one crab poster for each number from 1 through ten. Each poster features the number in standard form, in word form, and includes the correct number of crabs so students can see a visual representation of that number. Each number poster will print on a full sized 8.5 X 11 page and can be printed smaller (2 or 4 to a page) if the teacher desires a smaller poster or if they have limited space for a wall display. Ways to Use: The themed number wall display: Great to put up in a math center or in the circle time area, these number posters make a great classroom wall decoration for displaying the numbers 1 through 10. Introducing Numbers: These posters make a great teaching tool when introducing and review numbers from 1 through 10. Winter Word Mat Phonetically Coded The Winter Word Mat Phonetically Coded resource provides a winter-themed word mat to help students learn essential vocabulary words for the season. Key phonetic patterns are colour-coded on each word to reinforce spelling rules students know and help decode new terms.
