Are you crazy for pumpkin spice? Is Thanksgiving incomplete without a turkey and stuffing? Does Christmas only feel real after the first sip of eggnog? In this ESL lesson your students will discuss holiday cheer, and how seasonal foods play a part in getting in the mood for the holidays. Students will be given the opportunity to discuss their guilty pleasures as to holiday foods and explain what exactly makes them enjoy the holidays. Does the weather outside need to be frightful and the fire inside delightful? Does Mariah Carey need to be belting from the stereo? Does Home Alone need to be playing on repeat to start the season? Does a trip to a heavily-decorated mall let you know that Santa is coming? Take the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with your students by talking about their holiday traditions. *****Our lessons focus on practical day to day language, while providing an array of vocabulary words that teach students how to speak with a native flair. The design of each lesson plan is to encourage open conversation with students. Our lessons typically follow the same format. Each topic or lesson plan will begin with a series of warm-up questions, followed by an initial introduction of ten vocabulary words, and a fill in the blank in exercise. The second half of the lesson will include an additional series of questions, five more vocabulary words and a post lesson writing assignment. All of this is designed to make the lesson extremely interactive and encourage students to converse freely, while providing vocabulary focused tasks and an engaging topic. 1. Introduction Nowadays, learning mathematics should be one of the most fun experiences for children, so it is important that teachers or parents devise materials or educational games for students or their own children to see mathematics as a useful and didactic tool. That is why on this occasion, I have developed this beautiful proposal to practice multiplication, with a dinosaur theme. 2.Objective. -To make students love mathematics. -To make students see that mathematics is a useful and fun tool. - To achieve that the students learn mathematics and in this case multiplication in a playful and didactic way. 3.Order, outline and stages - Introduce your art class with relaxing music. Next, invite the children to guess what activity is coming up. - Now tell your students that today they will reinforce the topic of multiplication in a playful and educational way. - Ask them to take out their pencils or markers. - Now hand out the worksheets and let the students or your children start solving. - If you want to make this activity more exciting, you can tell them that you will set a timer. 4.Grades or ages This game is designed for children from 7 to 10 years old, especially for children who have already learned multiplication and want to reinforce it. How to apply It is suggested that the teacher or parent, print 1 game for each student, because these activities will be done quickly and in a playful and fun way. Print these activities on an A4 sheet, in color and make sure you have color ink, since it requires a lot of color. Then staple the sheets together and hand them out to your students or children. You will only need these materials and that the students or children have a pencil or colored markers. 7. SN Blend Find and Colour Phonics Worksheet to Develop Phonemic

This SN fun, Find and Color worksheet for initial blends is excellent for acquainting children orally with initial consonant blends and helping them develop the necessary phonemic awareness in preparation for more advanced blending work, involving four phonemes. What is included in the pack? One PDF sheet for the SN blend. What do the worksheets involve? Pupils are instructed to combine the two letters on each worksheet and then look for objects that start with that consonant blend. Then, these items ought to be coloured, leaving the others uncoloured. Children can easily work on the sheets unaided once they have been instructed, although, with those children with special needs, it is strongly suggested that an adult works with the child for maximum benefit. How to use The introduction of the concept of initial blends needs to be done thoroughly. When I work with children, especially those with a special need, I first like to teach children to blend two consonant letters. Then I work on developing the children's phonemic awareness: that being the ability to hear two consonant letters blended at the beginning of a word, easily. This is difficult for some pupils and takes a lot of practice. These worksheets can assist by first encouraging students to blend the two consonant letters and then by helping them to hear the blend at the start of a word. As often as you can, practice blending the letters in each initial blend and encourage the students to follow suit. I find that modelling is key at this stage. Who are the initial blends Find and colour worksheets for? Young learners Those with a special need Due to their non-babyish nature, they can be successfully used with older ESL/EFL pupils. Answer keys: The answer key is included on the sheet, in small print.

Whereas textbooks can become outdated in no time, any changes to technology or the world will result in updates to this product. Mixed Questions The mixed questions section of each lesson includes a variation of fivecomprehension, vocabulary and math questions. In addition, key reading strategies are frequently covered including cause & effect, summarizing, compare & contrast and making conclusions. Three of the questions will be MCQs and two will require a written response of some kind. Full answers and example responses appear at the end of the lesson. Spelling & Vocab Each reading passage contains a variety of words and phrases designed for Grade 2-3 students. Spelling and vocab activities provide the opportunity to build fluency with these words. As it can become quite mundane doing the same activities over and over, each lesson in a set will contain a different spelling and vocab activity . Writing Prompts Writing prompts are designed to continue the theme or lessons learned in the story. Students are persuaded to write in a variety of ways and each prompt includes several cues to help. As with the spelling/vocab section, writing prompts will vary. This includes research pieces, reading responses, poetry and creative writing prompts. Full Answer Keys Full answer keys and sample responses are provided so no matter how busy you are, you know you're covered! Mixed question answers provide evidence from the text, math questions contain the relevant workings. Answers are designed for use by the teacher, but also suitable as a handout to the student.
