Long and Short E: Quiz Game Sample Game Note: This download is in PowerPoint show mode to protect the rights of the image creator(s), and is thus UNEDITABLE. Playing the Game Note 1: Upon opening you will come across a password prompt. Press 'read only'. Note 2: You may need to allow ActiveX controls to use the scoreboard. The game starts will the front screen. Press the arrow in the bottom right to move onto round 1 - short E. There are ten questions in each round, click on one of these buttons to go to that question. There are a mix of options and marks available. Click on the correct answer. Incorrect answers will go dim. Correct answers will flash, all the incorrect answers will dim, small picture will appear. At this point if you are using the scoreboard, click on scores. You can edit any of the boxes and don't need to leave slideshow to edit it - the team names and scores. Simply input using keyboard. Introduction As is known, adding in mathematics is a fundamental skill for our students and/or children to develop their numerical skills as well as acquire an understanding of increasingly advanced mathematical concepts. 2.Objective The objective of creating this fabulous sum worksheet responds to 5 very specific objectives such as: -Contribute to the improvement of the ability to perform basic sums more accurately and quickly, since developing the ability to perform sums efficiently is essential to address increasingly complex mathematical problems. -Understand the numerical value of numbers and how they change when adding, because this way our students will be able to understand the relationship between various numbers and how these when combined form or give rise to a new value. -Increase or improve the ability of our students to apply addition in situations of their daily lives and in practical life problems, for example in purchasing situations, calculating expenses, measuring quantities and solving everyday problems, learning additions will be basic. -Improve the memory and mental speed of our students when solving sums, because these worksheets will contribute to the development of a solid numerical memory, and the ability to perform mental calculations more quickly, quickly and efficiently. -Establish a solid foundation for approaching concepts that will later be more advanced such as multiplication, subtraction and even division, and thus our students will feel more capable of later exploring more complex mathematical concepts in later educational stages, where I am More than sure that they will do very well, since they will have an excellent mathematical base. 3.Order, scheme and stages - Introduce your mathematics class in a motivating way, through a dynamic, a song and/or a strategy that awakens their curiosity and/or imagination. - Then distribute the cards to the students individually and invite them to start solving them. -Because the theme is about the jungle, you can decorate your room or play background music allusive to the theme so that your students become more motivated and feel comfortable doing their math worksheet. 4.Grades or ages This mathematical resource sheet on addition up to 10 has been developed for children from 6 years old to approximately 8 years old. 5.
