It is a fun and engaging way for students to gain more experience with the strategy. It also gives me time to check in with students, see how they are doing, and give support where needed. The next day after the Digital Mystery Picture Reveal, we do 1 more Number Talk, focusing on the selected strategy, just to consolidate our learning. The following day we do the assessment.
