Teaching young learners non-interlocking puzzles is important for a variety of reasons. Promotes problem-solving skills: Non-interlocking puzzles challenge young learners to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By figuring out how the pieces fit together, children develop their spatial awareness, logical reasoning, and attention to detail. Improves fine motor skills: As children manipulate the pieces of the puzzle, they develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. These skills are important for a range of activities, from writing and drawing to sports and other physical activities. Encourages persistence and resilience: Completing a puzzle requires persistence and resilience. Children learn that it takes time and effort to reach a goal, and that mistakes and setbacks are a natural part of the process. These skills can help them in other areas of their lives, such as academic work and extracurricular activities. Fosters a sense of accomplishment: Finishing a puzzle can give young learners a sense of accomplishment and pride. This can boost their self-esteem and confidence, and motivate them to take on other challenges. Provides a fun and engaging learning experience: Non-interlocking puzzles can be a fun and engaging way for young learners to learn new concepts and skills. They offer a hands-on, interactive experience that can capture children's attention and make learning more enjoyable. This resource can be used as teaching or assessment tool for the ABLLS-R Section B Visual Performance. Non-interlocking puzzle 3, 4, and 5 pieces. The puzzle image is fun silly shapes. Not complicated picture but enough design to work on visual discrimination and visual awareness. Print and laminate all pages. If a learner struggles with fine motor and clear velcro dot can be placed on the picture to hold the puzzle piece in place to reduce frustration for the learner. Store all pieces in a large clear plastic envelope for many years of teaching. Enjoy IFIO girl I'll Figure It Out

Why we teach errorless learning Errorless learning is a teaching technique that involves minimizing errors during the learning process by providing learners with prompts or cues to help them avoid making mistakes. This approach is particularly effective with young early learning students because it can help build their confidence and prevent frustration, which can be major barriers to learning. Here are some reasons why it is important for educators to teach errorless learning to young early learning students: Promotes success: Young early learning students who experience success in their learning are more likely to enjoy the process of learning and be motivated to continue. By minimizing errors and providing cues, educators can help students achieve success and build their confidence. Reduces frustration: When young early learning students make mistakes, they can become frustrated and lose interest in learning. By minimizing errors and providing cues, educators can reduce frustration and keep students engaged and motivated. Increases independence: Errorless learning can help young early learning students become more independent learners by allowing them to practice skills without the fear of making mistakes. As they become more confident and proficient in their learning, they can gradually reduce their reliance on prompts and cues. Builds a strong foundation: Early learning is critical for building a strong foundation for future learning. By teaching errorless learning, educators can help students develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge that they can build on as they progress through their academic careers. Sorting/Grouping non-identical objects - ERRORLESS ACTIVITY This activity is a great starter activity for the learner who is being introduced to the concept of grouping/sorting. This 22 page activity is two activities in one. The first one is errorless, where the learner can be independently successful completing an activity . It teaches identical matching and the initial concept of group sorting- taking an identical item from a group of identical items and moving it to match an identical item. There is a second bonus activity of non-identical cards to teach grouping of non-identical items. The pictures are large and clear. Great for those with vision issues or even visual attention issues. Introducing Numbers 1-9 Posters

Introducing Numbers 1-9 Posters
Math, Early Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Posters, Classroom Decor

Providing a fun and visual way to learn about introducing numbers, these Introducing Numbers 1-9 Posters make an excellent classroom resource! Featuring clear and informative graphics, the posters make it easy to learn the basics of numerals, with illustrations of tally sticks, dice, coins, ten frames, counting fingers, number name, and place value blocks. These high-quality posters help students build number sense and are a great reference for early mathematicians. Number sense refers to a child's fluidity and flexibility with numbers. Number sense helps children understand what numbers mean. Good number sense improves students' performance in mental math and gives them tools to look at numbers from multiple perspectives. Build students' number sense by showing them the multitude of ways you can represent one single number (ie: on fingers, dots on dice, tally sticks, etc.) To use, simply download, print, & hang! Posters can be resized to print two numbers to one piece of paper prior to print by changing the printing layout to 2 pages per sheet. Use these posters for math discussions and ask questions like "what is the same about showing 7 on fingers and showing 7 with ten frames?" Student will have several opportunities to see the addition within each number like 5 fingers on one hand and 2 fingers on the other hand is the same as 5+2=7. CCSS for building number sense: K.CC.1. Count to 100 by ones and by tens. K.CC.3. Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects). K.CC.4. Movie Worksheet Packet to use with ANY Movie: Quick, Easy, Sub Plans!

Movie Worksheet Packet to use with ANY Movie: Quick, Easy, Sub Plans!
, Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets

The is a 4-page packet for students to complete while watching ANY MOVIE. This is a great lesson for EMERGENCY sub plans that will still keep kids engaged and learning. Students quickly zone out if they watch without interacting with the movie. This packet will keep them focused and engaged even if the sub has no previous knowledge in your subject. The movie worksheets require students to respond to the movie every 10 minutes with a summary, character analysis, or questions such as... -What events happened in this section? Have you experienced anything like that? -Do you agree/disagree with the message of this section? -What can you learn from this section and how can you apply it to your life? -A summary of the section -What you liked the best/worst in that section -What characters were in this section? Are you like them in any way? There are 6 different question prompts for students to use to guide their answers. This is a great way to differentiate by expecting students to answer different questions or to utilize vocabulary words in the responses. The final page of the packet is an open area for students to doodle and fill with words and pictures about the theme of the video. This is a simple resource that you can have on hand for any emergency and know that students can still be challenged even when you aren't there to guide them. Here are some great religious movie ideas which you can find in Amazon: Bible Miniseries Therese The Nativity Story
