Acorn Dot Painting Alphabet Worksheets

These acorn themed alphabet worksheets are the perfect activity to help students recognize capital and lowercase letters. These pages are designed to be completed with dot markers for an added fine motor component.

What is Included:

This resource includes twelve worksheets. There are six worksheets for capital letters and six worksheets for lowercase letters.

There are several ways to use these worksheets:

• Students will look at the answer key in the top right hand corner of the page. Students will then use dot markers to dot the corresponding letters on the page.

• Students can use mini erasers or other small manipulatives to cover the letters.

• Students can use stickers to cover the letters.

• Students can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the acorns that contain the correct letter.

• The teacher can laminate the worksheets and students can use dry erase markers to mark the correct letters.

When to Use:

• Literacy Center: The teacher can place these worksheets in a literacy center for students to complete.

• Morning Work: These worksheets make a great, easy to set up activity for students to complete as classmates arrive to class.

• Quiet Time Activity: Students who do not nap can complete these worksheets while their classmates rest.

• Homework: These worksheets are an easy to assign homework activity for students to complete with parents.

These worksheets are no-prep. The teacher just needs to print the pages and give them to students to complete. Laminating is only required if the teacher wishes to create a write and wipe activity.
