About This Product

This is a pack of activities for a unit on Ancient Rome. Passages and activities are geared towards a 3rd-grade level (but can be used with other grades). The pack is aligned to the VA SOLs for 3rd grade social studies but can be used with any grade level teaching Ancient Rome, its contributions, economic resources, and general overview of the history of Rome.

Create your own mosaic craft activity - after reading the mosaic passage, students can create their own mosaics using cut pieces of paper or tissue paper, there is also a writing component to this activity where students explain their mosaics and why they chose what they did. There are also mosaic examples to show students
