Bilingual First Next Then Last Sequencing Templates

This sheltered instruction strategy is great for both ELLs and native English speakers. Sometimes people also refer to these types of strategies as siop strategies.

This resource contains three different English and Spanish language sequencing templates using the words First, Next, Then, Last (Primero, Despuès, Luego, Al final). There are a total of 12 printable pages (PDFs) to use with students in any grade level, including adult learners.

Template Type 1: Four blank squares for images with labeled lines for text underneath.

Template Type 2: Four large, blank rectangles with sequencing labels (no lines)

Template Type 3: Four squares with lines for text inside and a large rectangle at the bottom with space and lines for writing a summary

Each template comes with four different versions to allow for use in multiple situations.

Version 1: English language only

Version 2: English/Spanish dual use (in that order)

Version 3: Spanish/English dual use (in that order)

Version 4: Spanish language only
