How to Use:
The first page requires students not only to complete computations, but also to estimate their solutions before starting out. Half of the marks are given for successful estimations. This encourages students to develop estimation skills which can greatly help in identifying potential calculation errors.
The second page contains word problems (worth 10 marks) that increase in complexity. These cover real-world scenarios such as unit price computation, tax calculations, evaluating sale prices and dealing with multiple operations simultaneously. These word problems aim to assess deeper levels of comprehension and application of decimal operation skills.
