Easter Build It Mats for Counting to 10

Young students can have fun counting to ten with these Easter Build It! Counting Mats. Each counting mat features a unique Easter theme for students to build a tower for the purpose of counting up to 10. These mats also make a great fine motor activity for preschool and kindergarten students.

What is Included:

This resource includes a total of 6 build it counting mats with a variety of Easter themes. The themes include Easter eggs, baskets, chicks, bunnies and more!

The bold and colorful Easter images will allow students to have fun with and stay engaged with practicing counting to 10.

How to Use:

Students will use one mat and will be required to use a set of stackable counting cubes or building blocks. Students will look at a number on one of the Easter objects and then stack the cubes or blocks up to that number. For example, if the number chosen is 4, then the student will stack 4 blocks on top of that number.

When to Use:

• Morning Tubs or Baskets - The teacher can place the mats and counting cubes or building blocks inside a morning bin for students to work on while they wait for their classmates to arrive to class.

• Math Center - The teacher can place the mats and counting cubes or building blocks in a math center for students to complete independently or with a partner.

• Small Group Activity - The teacher can pull aside a small group of students who need extra practice with counting to 10.
