About This Product

Students often struggle with emotion regulation-- especially when their emotions get too big. This low prep lesson plan teaches students all about intense emotions and how everyone has emotions that become way too big. This lesson helps to bridge the gap between emotion intensity and coping skills by helping teach how everyone has different levels of emotions. This lesson plan is perfect to teach kids with big emotions about their feelings and their behaviors. This lesson plan can be used in individual lessons as well as small groups and even whole class lessons.

This activity includes worksheets where students can work with social workers or counselors to help label their emotions and how high their emotions get. The students can then talk about where their behaviors fall on the scale of intensity, with multiple visuals. A lesson plan is also included to help guide your sessions and make them go with ease!

If you have students struggling with explosive behaviors and not understanding the size of their reaction, this activity is for them!
