Free Spanish Interactive Simple and Compound Sentences Center Activity
About This Product
The purpose of teaching and learning the Spanish Language Skills working with Simple and Compound Sentences is the development of the student's communicative competence, attending to the processes of comprehension and production of oral and written language. To learn, practice and review working with Simple and Compound Sentences starting at a young grade level. while sharing the vocabulary, meaning and definitions of words and sentences. In addition, we will work with characteristics and importance of grammar and logic of the Language, elaborating the relationship that exists between cause and effect.
This educational material was specially prepared for students that are learning Spanish as a second Language as part of their curriculum. In this particular case, with Collaborative Learning Center which Is a learning space being a place where students can develop their cognitive, social, and physical skills through a variety of activities. These spaces allow the child to experiment with different types of learning in an interesting way. Activities are carried out with a particular end goal, whether it is to master a skill or simply to encourage curiosity. Learning hubs are dedicated spaces in the classroom that provide a variety of learning resources in a passionate and effective way. Learning centers often include a variety of resources, designs, and media that students can use to apply what they have learned in the classroom. Its goal is to develop students' knowledge of subjects, skills, subjects, or topics. This learning can take place after students have been introduced to a topic, during the teaching of crucial ideas, or as a starting point for interesting topics. Here we can mention 3 Types of Learning Centers: enrichment centers, skill centers, and interest and exploration centers.
Teacher Instructions for the practice and use during centers activities.
1. Print the entire following material preferably on 8.5”x 11” Cardstock. Laminate for durability.
2. Glue page 1 (front cover) on the cover of a folder or the front of an envelope at least 10”x 13”. 3. Glue page
3 (Directions) on the inside of the front cover folder or the back of the envelope.
4. Place the rest of the material (cards with pictures, sentences, examples and/or chart) in the folder or in the envelope, so they are ready for the children to work with them as they go through the centers. Make sure, you also have pencils and colors as well.
5. Children should keep record, preferably on a notebook (center notebook) of their work in each center. This notebook should be all the children take from center to center as they rotated.
6. The children will continue working at their centers until you give the signal to stop, pick up the center and proceed to change to the next table or center, and so on until the end of the center activities
Students Directions:
1. Choose and look at a card.
2. Read the sentence(s). Write a compound sentence if they are (2) sentences, or vice versa; write (2) sentences, if it is a compound sentence. Use the Chart and the Examples, if necessary.
3. Then, take another picture card and repeat the above steps until they ask you to stop.
