This French: Pronunciation Practice- Part 1 resource contains a tool designed to assist intermediate to advanced students in honing their French pronunciation skills.
Although this tool can be utilized in a classroom setting, it's primarily crafted for independent study.
Part 1 encompasses six fundamental components:
Silent letters at words' ends
The pronunciation of -r
The pronunciation of -u
Silent -h and cedilla
Nasal sounds
The ‘ay/ai’ pronunciation
The French: Pronunciation Practice- Part 1 included PowerPoint presentation, composed of around 25 slides, offers descriptions for each component, integrated sound files for hands-on learning, and practice slides. (The sound files are also separately stored in a distinct folder).
Additionally, you'll find a link to access the Google Slides version of this PowerPoint. However, you'll require a Gmail account to access this. The Google Slides can be shared with your students or posted on Google Classroom.
The final three slides feature a short test, in which students listen to an audio clip and select the corresponding word from a given table.
