Directions for use:

To prepare the Spiders and Flies Activity for use, print the pages you wish to use. Laminate them for durability. For use with children to teach uppercase and lowercase letters as well as phonics phonemes. Make sure to make multiple copies of spiderweb mats depending on the amount of children participating.

To play this activity place a phonic spider on to the spiderweb mat, and have the children find and match the flies to the spider by sticking (using sticky tag) the flies into the web to feed the spider.

Another way to use this resource, is to hide the flies all over your area and ask the children to find and match the flies to the spiders for a more active and energetic activity.
