The Kindergarten Level A-B Nature & Science Topics collection consists of 11 leveled books that can enhance your ELA or Science instruction.

These original books cover fun and interesting topics to include: 

Level A – The Tan Cat, The Bug, The Sun, The Big Pig, The Zoo, The Hen Level B – My Five Senses, The Weather, Stars, My Body, and The Gray Cloud

The books and activities can be used to address the Kindergarten ELA Standards, specifically Reading Informational Text and Informational Text. Several of The Next Generation Science Skills for Kindergarten are aligned with the text (e.g., animals and their habitat; what is the weather like; and what living creatures need to survive and the relationship between their needs and where they live).

1-3 activity pages are included with each book to reinforce reading comprehension, vocabulary development, writing skills, and science concepts. To help with instruction, the teaching objectives, sight words, and targeted vocabulary words are listed on the first page of each story.

The resource totals 23 pages.
