This Saint John Bosco movie is a fantastic way to introduce students to the mission of Saint John Bosco. These worksheets help students understand some of the vocabulary used in the movie such as Saint, Bishop, Oratory, Priest, and Lay Person. There is also a list of important people that they will meet in the film. There are a lot of characters in the film and it's easy to lose track of names, so the character list helps students to remember and engage with the people--many of which are now on the path to sainthood!

These vocabulary words and student-centered definitions are included in the packet.

Oratory: A school or place of worship

Saint: Someone who is holy, a person who is in heaven.

Priest: A man who is ordained to serve the Catholic Church

Bishop: A priest who has authority over an area or a group of churches.

Lay Person: An member of the church who isn’t ordained

Salesian: Follower of the ideas of Saint Francis de Sales
