Smartwatch Parking Lot – Visual Sign for Classroom Use
A Simple Visual Reminder for the Classroom

PNG + PDF
In my class, it became an issue: smartwatches during tests. At first, I wasn’t sure how to handle it. Do I check every wrist? Do I collect them all? It was time-consuming – and a bit awkward.
So I made a sign.
Since then, we have a clear rule: before a test, smartwatches go to the “parking lot.” Students just place them in a tray or on the agreed spot. No discussions, no checking needed. The sign makes the rule visible and fair for everyone.
You’ll receive the sign in PDF and PNG format, in a clean and friendly design. I’ve included different color versions so you can choose what fits best in your room.
What I like about it:
It’s quick to set up. You just print and hang it near the designated area. It works not only during tests but also in lessons where focus matters – reading time, quiet work, partner tasks.
The routine builds fast. After a few uses, my students started reminding each other: “Watch to the parking lot!”
It’s a small change, but it takes pressure off me and helps create a calmer atmosphere.
Best,
Heike from Lernfitness
