Sorting - Grouping Activity Non-Identical by FRUIT AND COLOR

In the "Sorting Non-Identical Fruit" - by fruit or by color - activity, the learner will have the opportunity to improve their visual discrimination and categorization skills. The activity consists of a set of fruit activity cards, each depicting a different type of fruit, and six corresponding sorting cards for each fruit. There are also color cards where the learner can sort the various fruit by their color.

Each individual sorting card will feature a picture of the same type of fruit, but with subtle differences in color, size, and shape. The learners will need to carefully examine the sorting cards and use their critical thinking skills to sort them into the correct group based on the corresponding fruit activity card or by the color card

This activity is not only fun and engaging, but also provides an early math foundation by introducing sorting and grouping concepts CATEGORY AND FEATURE. This activity was created to be easy to create, assemble and individualize. Print, laminate and velcro the cards to pages. three hole punch and place in a binder or use book rings for many years of teaching.
