Understanding Personal Space, Social Skills Story & Activities For K-2nd
About This Product
This is a story written to help children who have difficulty understanding PERSONAL SPACE. What is good personal space and why is it important? How do we keep good personal space?
This story is great to read frequently to the student who is often invading other's personal space by:
> sitting too close
> walking in between others
> people without permission
> leaning or on people
> grabbing people
> grabbing materials
Stories are a great way to teach children social skills that they are having challenges with. Social Skills Stories & Activities use clear, explicit language to break down information into small, manageable steps to teach children what they should or should not do, in a given situation.
These stories and skill builder activities are great for children with special needs, ELL students who benefit from clear language, or any child who may be struggling with a particular social skill.
As with all of my products, I am more than happy to modify this story for you. Perhaps you would like a child's name in the story, or a photo, the name of the child's school, or teacher? Just contact me in the Q and A section and let me know what you would like!
