Student can work independently on this puzzle, however, if you choose to put them into small groups they will promote collaboration and conversation with each other for this part of the activity.
You can use this interactive worksheet for a fun bell ringer, as part of a quick homework assignment, or for an engaging activity for Flag Day. This is a wonderful way for students to think about the meaning of the significance of the American flag.
We created two versions of this worksheet to accommodate various learning styles. One worksheet illustrates colorful pictures in connection to Flag Day spirit, and the other version of the activity features a black and white outlined version for students to color in during the activity to promote creativity and engagement with this lesson plan.
