AN Word Family Flower Craft

Get those creative juices flowing with these AN words flower craftivity. Students will practice reading and identifying AN words while creating a fun spring flower. What is Included: There is 1 flower template for reading AN family words There is 1 flower template for identifying and matching AN words and pictures. This resource contains two CVC words flower template. When finished, each flower will have 6 different petals with words and pictures. They can be used to introduce or review CVC words, especially words with the AN spelling. With easy to identify images, students will not have difficulty knowing which picture matches which word. There are two ways to use this product: One way to use this resource is to simply print, and allow students to color, cut out and glue the flower onto colored paper. Another way to use this resource is to print the flower onto colored card stock paper. The teacher then can cut and laminate the pieces. The flower can make a great matching activity for a literacy center, or be combined with other word flowers to sort. Ways to Use: Independent Work - Students can complete books on their own. Small Group Activity - The teacher can target students who need more practice with word families in a small group setting. Early Finishers - Students who finish other work early can make these books for extra practice. Homework - These foldable books can be sent home for students to work on with parents. Sub Plans - The no-prep nature makes these books great for subs to give to students to complete.
