These spring themed addition cards, designed for kindergarten math centers, are an excellent resource for practicing addition within 10. Offering hands-on experience, the cards assist students in solving math facts by finding the sum for each card, using number sentences. This practical approach offers numerous opportunities for learners to engage with and hone their addition skills. What is Included: Addition Number Bond Cards for finding the sum within 10 Addition Math Mats and Acorn Counters to assist students in solving each addition fact This addition card set contains one card for each addition fact for sums within 10. Students will find these math addition cards engaging and fun. These cards easily differentiated so students on different levels can still be successful. By including the addition number bond, number sentence mats and counters, students are provided a hands on way to solve each problem if they need the extra support. Teachers may choose to use real candy hearts or other manipulatives to assist in counting if they do not wish to print and prep the heart counters. These centers are easy and low prep, just print, laminate and cut. They can be used as task boxes, traditional math centers or as morning basket or morning tub activities. How Can These Activities Be Used? Task Boxes - Place the cut apart cards in a task box with a dry erase marker for students to solve each addition fact. Math Centers - Simply place the cards in a math center for students to complete independently or with a partner. Morning Tubs or Baskets - Place the cards in a morning bin for students to work on as their classmates arrive to class. Early Finishers - As students finish other classwork early they can choose these cards to work on. Emergency Sub Plans - The easy to assign nature of these cards make them ideal activities to leave for subs. Small Group Activities - These cards make a great small group activity as the teacher can pull aside small groups of students who need help with specific math facts. These addition fact cards can be used as a whole sheet of addition problems and placed inside a page protector for students to use dry erase markers to complete. They can also be cut apart and used as task cards or flash cards for students to practice addition fluency. Each recipe template: Can be printed with the chosen recipes handwritten onto the cards Can be edited using Google Slides or PowerPoint - Font styles can be changed and more. Links to recipe ideas are included as well. This is a project that can be worked on individually or as a team. Students will practice using Google Slides or PowerPoint software which will increase their knowledge of creating products in these creative software programs. Students will practice typing and/or handwriting. Students can give the finished products to a special friend or family member. Students can try out the recipes in the school kitchen as is possible. A lovely home economics and family consumer sciences project. Students will be developing research skills when they utilize the included links to find recipes and choose ones that they think sound yummy. Finding, choosing, and trying out new recipes are all life skills that will be helpful into adulthood, especially if students are given the opportunity to try out any of the recipes. Students will have fun doing this crafty, unique activity, and they will be learning at the same time. Recipes contain ingredients in specific amounts (math), and have to be followed like a lab experiment to complete and end up with a successful finished product. Two zipped files are included: one non-editable pdf file and one editable PowerPoint file that can be used with Google slides which is a free program.
