These dragons are so silly and so much fun for kids to color. As is this entire dragon crafts activity pack. Kids absolutely love these dragons as well with their simple, thick outlines, they are a great way to give your students a break from their work and also be used as a reward for good behavior and an assignment done well. Since so many kids nowadays love dinosaurs and dragons, I thought it would be fun to create a dragon crafts activity pack. The simple drawings are perfect for preschoolers and prereaders. The bookmark designs, which are smaller and more complex, can be enjoyed by older students as well. There are five different dragons on 8.5 x 11 for a total of 10 posters - 5 of the dragons contain a colored example that children can follow to help with color recognition. These do not have a color border. The other 5 dinosaurs are black and white by themselves and contain a colored border. Once colored, the posters can be used to decorate bulletin boards, classrooms, and home refrigerators. They could even be framed and given as gifts! They can be printed and used again and again! In addition, there are 6 double-sided bookmarks with different geometric designs, patterns, and dragon pictures for coloring and printing. Geometry is math, so without realizing it, when your students color in the geometric designs, they are in essence practicing math skills. You can ask your students to identify the shapes and patterns on the bookmarks while they are coloring. You can also teach about shapes and patterns while they are keeping their hands busy coloring them. This can be super helpful in reducing distractibility. The geometric designs are great for developing familiarity with shapes and patterns. Plus, bookmarks make great gifts and encourage reading. The format is pdf downloadable and there are 15 pages, including the cover page. There is no need for an answer key as this dragon craft activity pack is pure fun with a little arts and crafts and math snuck in.

Enhance the teaching and learning of the beginning sound of letter T with our unique and interactive flower craftivity. This educational tool is designed to facilitate the understanding and recognition of the letter T sound with common, easy to recognize images. Our resource contains three different letter T flower templates to practice both beginning sounds as well as letter recognition. What's Included: There are two different templates that allow students to create a flower focused on recognizing the beginning sound of the letter T. There is one template that allows students to create a flower focused on letter recognition of both capital and lowercase forms of the letter T. Utilizing this Resource: Simply print the flower templates, and then allow the students to color, cut out, and assemble into a flower on colored construction paper. You can also print the flower design onto colored card stock to create a sorting activity . The flower will need to be cut and laminated. This can function as interactive materials in a literacy center, where students can match pictures to the correct letter R flower. Mix and match these with flowers of other letter flower crafts to encourage sorting and classification exercises. If you are looking for a hands-on way to have your students practice sight words, this Sight Word Dot Painting will do the trick! This super fun set of worksheets helps your student learn to identify sight words when mixed amongst other words. Help them search through the words carefully and mark the sight word whenever they see it. A simple activity- but a hit every time! What You Get: · "What Are Dolch Sight Words?" Article · Dolch Sight Word Lists by level · A dot painting worksheet for each sight word How To Use This Resource: This is the set of dolch sight words. There are 41 words total. I have included several options so you are more likely to find what fits the needs of your students. All the pre-primer words are offered in two fonts: a dotted line for students to trace and practice writing the words, and in a chunky coloring form so students can color and do some art with each word. Every card has a tiny title “Pre-Primer Dolch Sight Words” so that if the card ggets mixed up with the others, you can sort them out by level again. Also, the cards are offered in a classroom form and an individual form. Hopefully this helps to fill both the classroom need and the homeschool need.
