Printable Chemistry Pennants – Christmas Classroom Decor
STEM, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Basic Science, Holiday & Seasonal, Holidays, Christmas, Homeschool Templates, Grade 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, Activities, Projects, Labs, Experiments, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Bulletin Boards, Crafts, Centers, Banners
Printable Chemistry Pennants – Christmas Classroom Decor I made this banner because I wanted something simple to hang in my classroom during the weeks before the holidays — something that looked nice but still connected to chemistry. These are small triangle flags, each showing one element from the main group, with symbol, name, and atomic number. The design has a bit of a holiday touch but it’s not loud or silly, so it works even if you don’t go all-in on Christmas decorations. What I like about it is that I can just print it, cut it out, and hang it up, and it brings colour to the room without much effort. The students walk past it every day, and after a while they start to recognise elements just from seeing them over and over again. It’s not a big thing, but I’ve noticed that small exposures like that can really help, especially for the students who don’t memorize things easily. I printed mine on heavier paper and used some string and tape to hang it across the whiteboard. One year I laminated them so I could use them again the next time, and they held up really well. You can hang them in a line, in clusters, or just tape them to cabinets or doors — whatever fits your classroom. Sometimes I also use them as a starting point. I might ask a student to pick one element from the banner and tell me something about it, or we do a quick warm-up based on the symbols they see. But most of the time, it’s just there, and that’s enough. It makes the space feel less grey in December, and still keeps the focus on science. It’s nothing complicated — just a printable you can use when you want something useful and a little seasonal. 📍 Happy teaching, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Valentine's Day Templates - Printable Greeting Cards & Coloring Sheet
Creative Arts, Valentine's Day, Holidays, Holiday & Seasonal, Community Building, Resources for Teachers, Special Resources, Life Skills, Social Skills, Speech Therapy, Homeschool Templates, Crafts, Activities, Centers, Projects, Bulletin Boards, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Templates, Teacher Tools
I love to make printable greeting cards and bookmarks. Not only are they fun for kids to do but can be used to practice and build useful and important skills. For example, these cute Valentines Day cards with matching envelope template (5 x 7 finished size): Require students to cut out the cards and envelope template in order to create a finished card with a matching envelope. Cutting with scissors builds fine motor skills. When students fold the cards correctly as well as paste the envelope template correctly, they are developing (especially with the envelope template) problem solving skills in addition to the fine motor skills practice. Deciding who to give the card, writing out a greeting to the chosen person, and addressing the envelope will not only build social skills, but life skills that will always be needed throughout adulthood. Properly addressing the card and outside envelope will require proper capitalization and grammar and will develop handwriting skills as well. Students can work on their cards as a group. Teachers can create a special center for this project. Cards are blank on the inside so that students can decide what they want to say. They can also draw pictures if they are not reading or writing letters yet. The cards are not age specific. They can be created with pre-readers all the way up to adulthood. There are six (6) different foldable, 5 x 7-inch cards with the following sayings: All you need is Jesus Jesus loves you Be my valentine I love you Two of the cards contain a picture without a saying. One envelope template is included, which can be used with any 5 x 7 card besides the cards in the Valentines Day card pack. pdf downloadable file, each card is on a separate sheet of paper. Also included is a coloring sheet with a colored sheet students can use to match the colors or color their own way using their own chosen color scheme.

Coloring-style cross pages with verses (pages 5–6): John 3:16 and 1 Peter 1:3. Scissor Skills Fun Cutting Practice Worksheets for Preschool & KG
Montessori, Creative Arts, Back To School, Holidays, Holiday & Seasonal, Life Skills, Special Resources, Toddler, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Centers, Activities, Crafts, Worksheets & Printables, Workbooks, Coloring Pages, Worksheets
Scissor Skills Fun (Cutting Practice Worksheets for Preschool & Kindergarten) I created these cutting practice worksheets for young children who are still learning how to use scissors and need plenty of simple and easy hands-on practice. Many preschool and kindergarten students struggle with cutting at first, so I wanted to make something that feels fun and doable instead of overwhelming. This printable set includes grayscale pictures of animals, everyday objects, treats, simple shapes, and a lot more. Kids will cut along straight lines and curves while working on hand strength and eye coordination. All the pictures inside are familiar and playful, which will help to keep children interested and focused while they practice. Inside you will also see pages with bunnies, bears, lions, and raccoons, along with fun items like ice cream cones, castles, and volcanoes. According to me, a variety really helps - children are much more willing to practice when the pictures are exciting. As students cut, they naturally build scissor control, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. These skills are very important for writing, drawing, and many other classroom activities they’ll be doing later on. What’s inside? This resource includes grayscale cutting practice pages with: Animals Monkey, raccoon, lion, tiger, fox, owl, cat, dog, goat, snake, frog, duck, and fish Objects Magic wand, teddy bear, castle, flower, gem, doll, ball, gift box, and volcano Sweets & Treats Cake, cupcakes, donuts, lollipops, ice cream, and popsicles Fun Shapes An activity page to create Mr. Sun is also in there Who This Is For Preschool and kindergarten students learning scissor skills Homeschool families who want hands-on fine motor practice Special education and early intervention classrooms Occupational therapy or extra fine motor support Kids who enjoy cutting, crafting, and working with their hands Resource features: Some pictures have easy cutting lines that gradually become a little more challenging This set supports simple shape recognition cutting activity page for early learners All the pages are black and white that are easy to print and save ink No prep - just print and use It works well for centers, morning work, or independent practice It helps support hand strength and coordination It contains simple visuals that keep kids engaged without distractions Why do I like this resource? Fine motor development is a big part of early learning, and I wanted these pages to feel encouraging but not frustrating. Children can start with simple cuts and slowly work their way up. You may use these during centers, quiet work time, or when students need something calming and focused. The print and go format makes it easy to use anywhere - in the classroom, at your homeschool, during art time, or even during breaks and vacations. Benefits for Children It helps them improve scissor control and fine motor skills It helps kids strengthen hand-eye coordination It encourages focus, patience, and independence It also builds confidence with cutting and crafting This resource works well for preschool and kindergarten cutting practice , fine motor skill development, hands-on learning, and Montessori-style activities at home or in the classroom.
