Watercolor Backgrounds – 10 Designs for Teaching Materials and Creative Projects (A4 Format) PNG + PDF Over the years, I’ve realized how much a soft and thoughtfully chosen background can influence the overall tone of a worksheet, project, or presentation. Especially when working with younger learners—or just trying to break away from the usual black-and-white documents—a watercolor-style background can make materials feel calmer, more inviting, and a little more special. This set includes 10 hand-designed watercolor backgrounds , all created by me in Procreate. They’re simple, versatile, and gentle in color, making them easy to combine with your own content—whether you're designing a worksheet, setting up a presentation, or putting together printable materials like task cards or signs. Each background comes in two formats : – PNG (with transparent or clean edges – ideal for digital work) – PDF (quick and ready to print) What you can use them for: – Designing worksheets or templates for student work – Presentation slides (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva...) – Game cards or instruction sets – Greeting cards or classroom posters – Backdrops for reflection or writing pages – And much more I’ve personally used them for everything from laminated instructions at learning centers to cover pages for student portfolios. The bright spring artwork really draws kids in, and the different puzzle levels are great for supporting a range of abilities. What’s Inside: 4-100 piece puzzles Full-color answer pages Simple printing and cutting tips These puzzles work well with Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten, and the higher-piece versions can challenge Grade 1–2 students. I usually print the pages on cardstock and laminate them so they last longer, especially if they’re going into a center. How to Use: Just print, cut, mix, and let students put the puzzle together. The smaller-piece puzzles are great for fast finishers, and the bigger ones are perfect for students who like a challenge. Boy and Girl holding balloons and candy - Saying "Lots of Love for Valentine's Day XOXO Framed Design in pink and dark red/burgundy - Saying "Lots of Love for Valentine's Day" Framed Red Heart with Pink Bow - Saying "With Love on Valentine's Day" Pink and Purple Card - Saying "Happy Valentine's Day LOVE - Know that I love you to the moon and back." Card with Candy Hearts - Purple, Blue/Green, Red - Saying "I Love You" - Heart sayings include "Be Mine," "True Love," "Charm Me," "Kiss Me." Card with pink and purple hearts - Saying "Today is a celebration of all love - Happy Valentine's Day." You can have students work on them for a special project. Print the cards with the envelope template for each card (print 8 copies of the envelope template), have students choose their favorite, cut the card and the envelope template, fold them, and personalize them to give to a friend or loved one. Students will Practice hands-on craft skills (cutting, folding, pasting, problem solving with the challenge of properly creating an envelope from the template). Practice handwriting and spelling, proper grammar (including use of capitalization for proper nouns, at the beginning of sentence, proper use of commas and periods). Practice proper addressing of an envelope in preparation of sending in the mail, which is an important life skill. Greeting cards are not age specific. If the student can't read or write, they can draw pictures inside their card and get help from peers and teachers.

These adorable gingerbread characters are sure to inspire your kids and students this Valentines Day season. There are six different bookmarks, 2" x 6" size, each with a gingerbread person working on baking something yummy. In addition to the six (6) different bookmarks, this pack includes 4 different 5 x 7 cards, two with gingerbread characters, two with other designs. One card is white with just the words, "Love - Be My Valentine" in printed in cursive, red in color. The other card contains a pair of birds kissing inside of a red heart with a blue outline and a blue background. All cards say, "Be My Valentine." Also included is a 5 x 7 envelope template that your students can cut out and paste together to create an envelope that will fit perfectly with the 5 x 7 cards. This project can be used to encourage students to handwrite a message inside, address the envelopes. Also, simply the cutting, folding, and pasting the cards, bookmarks, and envelopes is a creative way for students to practice fine motor skills while enjoying the season as a class. That’s exactly why I created these glitter backgrounds. They add a little sparkle and visual interest without being too overwhelming or distracting. Sometimes it’s the background that helps set the mood for a lesson. In this set, you’ll find 12 glitter-style backgrounds, each in A4 format. I designed them using Procreate, and they’re available in three file types: PNG, PDF, and TIFF. That way, you can choose what works best for you—whether you're creating something for print or a digital format like Canva, PowerPoint, or Google Slides. Practice fine motor skills while creating a Christmas dot art painting with these fine motor q-tip dot painting sheets. This Christmas themed art activity is a perfect December craft for preschoolers and early elementary students to practice hand eye coordination. The following dot painting pages are included in this set: bell, candy cane, Christmas tree, fireplace, hat, lights, ornaments (2), reindeer, sack, Santa, sleigh, stocking, wreath Each page is designed with a different Christmas themed item for students to practice their fine motor skills and create a fun art picture to display in the classroom or in their home. Students will have fun choosing their colors to make their pictures their own unique masterpieces. When to Use these Dot Painting Pages Art Center or a Fine Motor Center - Simply place the pages inside the center with paints of various colors and cotton swabs for students to complete. Craft Activity - These dot painting pages also make a great whole class art activity where each student paints at their own desk their chosen dot art picture. Early Finishers - When students finish their work, they can complete this dot painting activity while waiting on their classmates to finish their assignments. Quiet Time Activity - Students who have trouble napping can complete one of these dot painting pages while their classmates nap. Displays - These dot painting pictures can be displayed on classroom bulletin boards , doors, or hallways. All of these dot painting pages are no prep. They just need to be printed and given to students to decorate. The teacher will simply need to provide paints of various colors and cotton swabs. An alternative to using cotton swabs and paint is to have students decorate their pictures with dots of colored glue. Older students may want to try creating their pictures this way for a more tactile way to complete this art activity.
