I created this winter-themed hat crown craft for young students who enjoy coloring, cutting, and assembling simple seasonal projects. These adorable, whimsical, Valentines Day cards are 5 x 7 size, double-sided, high-quality images, and include an envelope template you can use again and again. Print the cards with the envelope template for each card (print 8 copies of the envelope template), have students choose their favorite, cut the card and the envelope template, fold them, and personalize them to give to a friend or loved one. Students will Practice hands-on craft skills (cutting, folding, pasting, problem solving with the challenge of properly creating an envelope from the template). Practice handwriting and spelling, proper grammar (including use of capitalization for proper nouns, at the beginning of sentence, proper use of commas and periods). Practice proper addressing of an envelope in preparation of sending in the mail, which is an important life skill. Greeting cards are not age specific. If the student can't read or write, they can draw pictures inside their card and get help from peers and teachers.

These adorable gingerbread characters are sure to inspire your kids and students this Valentines Day season. There are six different bookmarks, 2" x 6" size, each with a gingerbread person working on baking something yummy. In addition to the six (6) different bookmarks, this pack includes 4 different 5 x 7 cards, two with gingerbread characters, two with other designs. One card is white with just the words, "Love - Be My Valentine" in printed in cursive, red in color. The other card contains a pair of birds kissing inside of a red heart with a blue outline and a blue background. All cards say, "Be My Valentine." Also included is a 5 x 7 envelope template that your students can cut out and paste together to create an envelope that will fit perfectly with the 5 x 7 cards. This project can be used to encourage students to handwrite a message inside, address the envelopes.
