Does the author share his or her opinion about the topic? If so, what is it? -What message is the author trying to send? Why has the author written the text? After choosing their skull, they decorate them in such a way that it represents themselves. This download also includes 2 writing papers (1 scaffolded and 1 final draft style) that prompts kids to write about how they decorated their skulls. Keep the skulls and final drafts and hang them in the hall- it makes for a great bulletin board!
