Number Recognition Pixel Art - Number 5

Number Recognition Pixel Art - Number 5
Math, Early Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Activities

Are you looking for fun activities for practicing number recognition? These pixel art worksheets are perfect for getting your students to practice number identification for the number 5! Different options for how to use this resource: Cut and paste You can choose to print the colour square pages on white paper. -This is the simplest option, but it will take a lot of colour ink. Or you can choose to print the black line squares pages on colour paper. -This will use a lot less ink, but it will take a little more work to prepare. -You may struggle to find colour paper in all the colours I have used. If you have a problem finding the right colours, you can generally substitute a different colour if you need to. Simply look at the answer key to see what the pictures are and choose an appropriate substitute colour. Colour by number You will only need to print the worksheets and allow the students to colour the squares themselves. Preparation: Worksheets 3 printing options: 1. Full colour - best if you will be able to use all the same colours that I have used. 2. Partial colour – I have left the colours blank. You will need to tell your students what colours to use for each number before they can start the activity . This is best if you need to make some substitutions because you are printing on colour paper and cannot find all the correct colours. 3. Black and white - like with the partial colour version, you will need to tell your students what colours to use for each number before they can start the activity . Squares Pages If you are using this resource as a cut and paste activity . 2 printing options: 1 .Colour squares pages (Print on white paper. Each page will have information telling you what picture it is meant for. Simply give each student a block with the different colour squares along with their worksheet) 2. Black line squares pages (print on colour paper. Each page will have information telling you which picture it is meant for, as well as the recommended colour paper to use, and how many students will be able to get their squares from one page. Cut on the dotted lines and give each student one section of each colour page for the picture they are working on.) What Motivates You? SEL Lesson Plan with Student Survey and Answer Handouts

What Motivates You? SEL Lesson Plan with Student Survey and Answer Handouts
Life Studies, Grade 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Teacher Tools, Lesson Plans

In this motivation lesson plan, students will learn about extrinsic versus intrinsic motivation. There is a PPT slide presentation with animation on most slides to full engagement (could be converted to a Google Slide presentation) to learn about both types of motivation-extrinsic and intrinsic. There are 2 video clips (The Office video clip is cropped so there is no inappropriate language and there is a Secret Life of Pets trailer-both via Videolink.) There is a student survey as well as an answer score sheet. In this survey students will answer 10 questions in a range of 1-4, where 1 represents "not at all me" and 4 represents "that's totally me." Students will be able to score their answers with the included answer sheet to determine their dominant motivational style. Included is also a process on how to increase either intrinsic or extrinsic motivational style. Such process involves asking themselves a series of questions (7 questions) to target what they could do to increase their weaker motivational style since both styles are needed. Please review the PPT slide notes for more lesson content and options for delivering the slide content.

COUNT NUMBERS, WRITE AND PAINT - Count Math Activity
Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, Activities

1. Introduction As is known by all educational agents, learning to count is a fundamental skill and capacity that children must develop for their mathematical and cognitive improvement. For this reason, today I have developed this fantastic worksheet on geometric figures, which will involve your students counting, as well as painting. 2.Objective The objective of this educational sheet is the following: -Develop basic mathematical skills: Learning to count is the first step in developing advanced mathematical skills. Counting provides a solid foundation for later understanding more complex concepts such as addition (addition), subtraction (subtraction), and other basic mathematical operations. - Improve cognitive coordination: Counting involves the coordination of understanding numbers along with the action and/or physical activity of being able to count objects or enumerate sequences. This learning process will improve cognitive coordination and help students develop increasingly advanced mental skills or abilities. -Encourage logical reasoning: Counting involves an orderly and logical sequence of numbers. When our students are learning to count, children will be developing logical reasoning skills since they will be able to understand numerical order and the relationships between numbers. - Support language development: Counting quantities or objects involves the use of numbers and words, which will contribute to the language development of the infant who will use this worksheet. In this way, children will learn to associate words with quantities and express mathematical concepts verbally, which is essential for academic success. - Promote problem solving: Learning to count will also promote the ability to solve problems, since children must understand and then apply the concept of counting to solve situations in their daily lives related to counting. 3.Order, scheme and stages Start your math class with a relaxing dynamic, or a motivational song related to how fun math can be. Then hand out the printed activity for your children to start with the activity . Ask them to use their markers, colors and/or colorful supplies to solve the worksheet. 4.Grades or ages This counting worksheet is intended for children ages 3 to 6, who are learning about their first numbers and counting. Also because at this time they enjoy painting activities a lot. 5. Form of application Print this worksheet and distribute it to your students individually. 6. Special Resources, Speech Therapy, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Activities

WH- Questions: WHERE - Set 2 helps students practice answering "where" questions, an important early literacy and communication skill. This Boom Cards deck provides 20 self-checking tasks where students read a short prompt and respond by selecting the image showing the location described. Questions range from basic ("Where is the cat?") to more advanced, promoting higher-order thinking ("Where does the owl live?"). Teachers can use this resource in small groups or independently to reinforce question comprehension, build vocabulary, improve listening skills, and check students' understanding. With immediate feedback, WH- Questions: WHERE allows students to progress at their own pace while teachers monitor their growth. This versatile questioning activity is well-suited for speech therapy or classrooms from preschool through 5th grade.
