Spelling Practice Papers - Test One prepares students ages 9-12 for spelling tests. This workbook helps build spelling skills aligned to national curriculum standards for 10-11 year olds. Practice words feature common prefixes, endings, homophones, soft g spellings, vowel combinations like ei and ey, and suffixes like -able/-ible, -ure, -ous, -ion, -ent, -ance/-ence, -tion/-sion/-ssion, and -cian. Students prepare for SATs by working through developmentally-appropriate spelling lists. Educators can implement these printables during literacy blocks, center work, bell ringers, homework, or individual practice. Assign the papers to provide spelling test preparation and monitor student growth over time.
