Order and steps: Each page has a picture of something that begins with the sound to be practised. The child can colour the picture while thinking about the sounds it begins with, The letter is then practised first in lower case, then in upper and finally alternating lower and upper cases. Red dots indicate where each letter starts and arrows to show direction are given on the first letter of the upper and lower case rows. Finally, the page finishes with a question, encouraging the child to think of other things that begin with that sound.
