LESSON PLAN FOR EACH BOOKLET Objective - Students will be able to identify an element in a story. (main idea, setting, character, & sequence) Materials - scissors, stapler, colored pencils/crayons, pencil, eraser, winter/holiday themed books, and booklet pages. Monday - Introduce the element. Use a short storybook to demonstrate the element. If you haven't introduced Title and Author this is a great time to do so. Tuesday - Review the element. Review the title and author. To complete this sorting activity , students will look at food item to determine if it begins with the letter H or does not begin with the letter H, and then the students will place the food item on the correct picnic mat.
