Great for Kindergarten/EYFS/Y1 and older pupils with special needs, including those with dyslexia or suspected dyslexia. SOR aligned. These worksheets also align with the most popular phonics programmes, including RWI and Letters and Sounds. What is included? 26 worksheets for the sound TH, taking pupils from hearing the sounds in words to reading and spelling them at the word and sentence level. All following my special method devised as I privately tutor children of all ages with profound special needs. Your phonics lessons are covered! Tracking, fluency triangles, spelling, reading, games, comprehension exercises....and more! 1 colour-by-code picture for added fun! Who are these worksheets for? Written for very young learners of any age who are just starting in reading Written to make sure that all children succeed. I learned early in my teaching career that if you teach the whole class as if they are dyslexic, those who are not make excellent progress, while those with any slight tendency are caught early, ensuring they avoid the horrors that come in later years from failure. Each worksheet covers a TINY necessary STEP. The worksheets are: ·are highly structured - one tiny step at a time, building on the one before, using only a limited number of words to start with and only using words that the child has already learnt to sound out, with no nasty surprises. ·Have only a little on each pageas young/special needs older pupils tire easily. What makes these worksheets special? I have a powerful three-step process which I use with my pupils, which is worked out over the course of the 23 worksheets: 1. See it!where we focus on becoming aware of the new sound in words. This involves first hearing the new sound in words and then seeing it in words (tracking). 2. Sound-it-out!Having learnt to see the new sound in words, we learn to sound out these words to read and write them. 3. Write it! Incorporated into the above two steps, we constantly write the new sound. This adds a multi-sensory dimension to our work - we see with our eyes, we say each word with our voice and mouth parts, hear it and then we move by writing. All three steps work together to help the child feel in control of his/her learning and to become a successful, confident learner. Flashcards are included of some common TH words. What is included? 1 PDF with flashcards and 26 worksheets

Atomic Shell Model Domino – Learning Electron Configurations Play
STEM, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences, Montessori, Basic Science, Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Quizzes and Tests, Teacher Tools, Word Problems, Flashcards, Escape Room, Experiments
Atomic Shell Model Domino – Learning Electron Configurations Through Play 118 cards for learning the periodic table A classroom game to practice atomic structure and element knowledge 🧪🎲 This printable domino game helps students explore the shell model of the atom while getting to know the periodic table in a more hands-on and interactive way. Each card connects an element name to a visual of its electron shell configuration, offering a playful way to reinforce key chemistry concepts. The set includes 119 domino-style cards – covering all 118 known elements. On each card, the element name is on the left and the corresponding shell diagram with its symbol is on the right. Students link them by matching the shell model of one element to the name of the next. It’s a surprisingly effective way to help them recognize patterns in atomic structure, get familiar with chemical symbols, and connect abstract content to something more tangible. What’s included: 119 printable domino cards (PDF) Each card shows: element name → electron shell model with element symbol Print-ready format; laminating optional but recommended Classroom ideas: Use as a full-class activity or in small groups Introduce the game before formal work with the periodic table to build foundational understanding Great for movement-based tasks: spread the cards across tables or even down a hallway Set time challenges: Who can build the longest correct domino chain? For easier levels, use a reduced set (e.g., first 20 elements or just the main groups) In my chemistry classes, students enjoy the game format – especially those who don’t usually connect with abstract models. Working together to build the correct sequence gives them a chance to talk through the structure of atoms and test their understanding in a low-pressure setting. The domino format encourages active learning, peer interaction, and multiple ways to differentiate by level. Whether you use the full set or simplify it for younger learners, it’s a great way to bring more movement and discussion into your science lessons. Just print, cut, and you’re ready to play. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? Social Studies Civics Notebook - VA SOL Aligned
Social Studies, Government, Grade 2, 3, 4,
This is a set of notes (some interactive) and activities that align to the Virginia Social Studies SOLs 3.11 (responsibilities of a good citizen), 3.12 (importance of government), and 3.13 (America is diverse). There is a printable version, a digital notes only version, and digital fillable/interactive notes and activities. While it is aligned to the VA SOLs, it covers topics that are taught across the US. I print these 2 to a sheet so they fit in the student's notebooks - and it uses less paper. While this is an interactive notebook in the sense that students will need to fill in blanks and complete activities, it does not have multiple flaps and things that need to be cut and glue. I simply print 2 copies a paper, cut them in half, and have the students glue the notes in their notebooks. Included in the notebook: Vocabulary Rules and laws notes Rules and laws activity Community notes Community activity Citizenship notes Citizenship activity Rights notes Types of government notes Types of government activity Levels of government notes* Levels of government activity * Branches of government notes* Branches of government activity * Diversity notes Diversity activity Unit Quick Check *note that these activities are not included in the SOLs listed above but are still useful information and something that non Virginia students might need for their civics unit.
