These printable Worksheets consist of questions containing 2 number lines between 0 and 1. Each number line is divided into a different number of equal parts which students then have to compare and determine the numerical value of the fraction or fractions. Worksheet Set 1: One fraction is shown. Students write down the equivalent fraction to the one shown taking into account the number of equal parts on the line. How to Use the 10 Little Dinosaurs Carpet Time Song: This fun dinosaur song (rhyme, poem) for carpet time is one of my students’ favorites! It works great for a dinosaur or shapes thematic unit. This is a great activity for teaching students to take away and to recognize numbers of objects to 10. A black and white version is included so that students can create their own 10 little dinosaurs to sing about. This is also a great activity for teaching students to recognize shapes. To Prep: Print, cut, and laminate dinosaurs and instructions. I print all the dinosaurs so that I can change out the shapes or different numbers of dinosaurs. To Play: Set owls out in the middle of the carpet or place them on a whiteboard with magnets attached. (tune of 8 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed) 10 little dinos jumping on the bed, SHAPE fell off and bumped his head. Mama called the doctor (point to a student) and the doctor said, “No more dinos jumping on the bed!” (The student you pointed to will take away the shape that bumped his head). Continue until all dinosaurs are gone. I ask students to hold up the number of fingers that matches how many dinosaurs we have. I hope you enjoy!!

Are you looking for fun activities for practicing number recognition? These pixel art worksheets are perfect for getting your students to practice number identification for the numbers 0-3! Different options for how to use this resource: Cut and paste You can choose to print the colour square pages on white paper. -This is the simplest option, but it will take a lot of colour ink. Or you can choose to print the black line squares pages on colour paper. -This will use a lot less ink, but it will take a little more work to prepare. -You may struggle to find colour paper in all the colours I have used. If you have a problem finding the right colours, you can generally substitute a different colour if you need to. Simply look at the answer key to see what the pictures are and choose an appropriate substitute colour. Colour by number You will only need to print the worksheets and allow the students to colour the squares themselves. Preparation: Worksheets 3 printing options: 1. Full colour - best if you will be able to use all the same colours that I have used. 2. Partial colour – I have left the colours blank. You will need to tell your students what colours to use for each number before they can start the activity . This is best if you need to make some substitutions because you are printing on colour paper and cannot find all the correct colours. 3.
